I'm both interested and worried by this one. See the only two characters I really care about right now are Selina and the demon daughter, but that's in past time. In present time (at start) I'm confused and alarmed by how things seem to have gone. So we'll see how this works out.
I don't reallly judge Ella harshly, her mom seems to be an abusive, manipulative sadist, and we have no idea what sort of grooming she's put Ella through while growing up. Its true that she's cheating on MC with her mom, but its also true that her mom desperately wants to stop the relationship between Ella and MC and hasn't been able to. So I can at least have some sympathy for her and want her to be okay, I just....don't really like her romantically when her competition is Selina.
Not at all sure what to make of the visions adam was shown of Mom and MC together. Either that happened and MC forgot? or Evil goddess is just lying? Anyhow I can sympathize with Mom too for being messed up, but I'm not really okay with her raping the MC for whatever weird magic ritual she thought Lileva was going to do for her.
Veronica is hot as hell, but I'm much less interested after she goes for Adam, even if she has this bizarre repressed lust for the MC going on the whole time. Adam, of course, deserves to suffer horribly. Yeah, his marriage turned awful, but his son (I think?) didn't take any actions that caused that (he did cause problems for adam by existing, but he can't be blamed for that) and so Adam's attitude toward his son is not okay.
Demon daughter is a bit confusing, but thus far in past time she seems to genuinely care about MC. She's just terribly misunderstanding things either due to immaturity or not being a human. Announcing that she murdered Adam because her dad wanted him to die (even though he didn't hurt him, because you know, human morality and all that) and then expecting sexy times to ensue presumably while dear old grandpa's corpse cooled beside the big bed, is hilariously, adorably, and horrifyingly misguided. She then magically makes MC and Veronica have sex instead, which completely freaks out MC later because consent is important, another fact which passes entirely above her head.
MC is basically having his sanity fray with all this crazy shit happening, so I can forgive him for not realizing that "Oh this scary demon looking lady who just killed my dad and seems connected to the freaky evil goddess is actually the magic baby my mom had when she forced herself on me while I was paralyzed by magic in some weird alternate dimension. Oh and despite the murder, and then the making me and Veronica have sex neither of us consented to, and her complete and utter lack of anything resembling ordinary human morality, she actually seems to genuinely love me and want me to be happy but horrifically misunderstands what will cause that because she's fundamentally inhuman and her life experience is measured in days."
That said, after the events at the Goddess' throne, I strongly, strongly hope he puts the pieces together at least somewhat and realizes that this girl saved him from a bad spot, and needs A. Help, cause it looks like she got fucked up while doing so, or is at least starving due to lack of sexual energy maybe, and B. a calm and detailed explanation of how human thought processes work and recent events in order to prevent further misunderstandings with horrific results, and C. a hug, because that "sorry I disappointed you daddy" line is a heartbreaker.
