Not the OG guy you were replying to, but he's right. In the lab, head to the monitor screen and there you can see death scenes and combat scenes, as pictured.
Wew, that looks COMPLETELY different from what was in at launch. And by launch, I mean the actual 1.00 version of the game that was pushed out way back near the end of August 2021. The Combat Scene button definitely didn't exist then, or I suppose it might have bugged out in my game for some reason... the initial release was EXTREMELY buggy...

That said, it's still weird and a shame that the game does not have a 100% unified gallery like the first game did. That's still a bizarre choice in my mind...

So, the Idol part is it's own separate thing entirely and does not impact the actual shooting missions in any way right?

Dang... they fixed my favorite exploit...

You can't use the melee vitality gain skill to gain vitality just by hitting random shit around the map. 'Twas really funny when you had a bunch of bricks or something and one hit filled up half of the gauge all on its own.

RIP perma buff and shield on the girls I guess...

Not that it was quite that easy given that the game tends to spawn something on your ass up too and including and entire horde whenever you start boinking one of the girls if you're not already in the middle of a fight. Super annoying.

Also, man, is it me, or do these devs really hate sniper rifles and the associated play-style?

How about the ntr scenes?
You gotta talk to the heroines to rewatch them, at the bottom of their event list IIRC (if you have unlocked them).

Yes, it's a bit dumb and a unified gallery like the previous guy said would be great, but I guess no one over at TeamKrama had plans to do QoL changes.

i just want their new game  fork those people who simps DLCs so much
I love DLCs. Actually I hate ditching a good game just because the devs feel need to spew out a new title which costs significantly more than the other and you need to get all your gear or items all over again in the new title because it's a NEW TITLE.
I love DLCs, but only if the base game is good :ROFLMAO:

If it's a game like this where every another DLC makes it more and and more complicated and resource hungry, yeah that's not really a good thing. First get the base game good, then think about throwing out a ton of DLCs.
That's why I prefer wasting time and money into Europa Universalis 4 and Stellaris and their DLCs rather than wasting them on for example a new battlefield that looks even better than the previous one and the destructions is even better and I don't even care what's next they're gonna add. Maybe they should improve the gameplay rather than focus on features :KEK:

BTW, Yes. This DLC made the game cross the critical mass and now even while in battle the girls' tatoo or the combat suit don't look good anymore, it's just blurry. My poor potato pc can't handle it anymore. Only, for some reason, the lingerie still look sharp and HD. Optimization in this game is so bad lmao.

The guns I avoid like the plague are the sniper rifles (never any use for it, all the zombies are fast and often spawn close to you), VO14 (20 rounds per magazine before reload is needed? For a machine gun?!) and Fireworks Launcher (what the actual fuck is this shit)

Honestly, it's worse than just that. Leaving aside the fact that most maps don't really give you the distance needed to really make the best out of a sniper rifle, the game constantly spawns special Zs behind your ass if you take your time. Inevitably, some of those special Zs will hurt the girls at least a little even if you're fast with getting rid of them... all while barely being able to build vitality to heal them back up and buff them. At least until you reach lvl 30 I guess, but I have no idea how effective that one passive that regens Vitality over time is...

Basically, sniper rifles are meant for a slow and steady gameplay where you make every bullet count, but level design and general gameplay actively discourages that particular play-style.

Which is f'n weird as fuck, because they give you bonus points for head-shooting shit... but they actively discourage you from taking your time to get a lot of head-shots, because, I dunno, you're not cool if you can't no-scope with extremely good reflexes, I guess.

So the only times you use them is basically when they're the first weapon that spawns and you have literally no other options... but even then, using the default pistol and running at Zs to punch them often seems more viable. Especially since girls like Aya and Hikari have the unfortunate habit of yolo-ing into the enemy randomly at times and then take unnecessary damage if you don't punch zombies off of them...

That said...

The heck is the Fireworks Launcher? I don't remember seeing that weapon... Does it appear in latter levels or something? Does it literally fire fireworks? Because that sounds dumb, on top of likely BEING extremely dumb...

IDK. The CM2000 or smth for me is pretty good against the tintans and some other mutants. Just a few accurate headshots and it goes down very easily. I always pick it up against the bosses.

It's true there's no space to use sniper rifles, but there's actually no need for sniper rifles in general in here. If you can get rid of all the zombies without coming close to them, then there's no need to make it an H game unless you're trying to play super seriously.

Also headshots give more damage to the enemy, try headshotting tintans with CM2000, you'll see what I mean. They die pretty easily when you land your shots correctly. Sometimes I kill them barely when they arrive in the field despite them supposedly being mid bosses.

As for the vitality problems, you just need more skills. True they're level locked so you need to level up your character but honestly the game is meant to be slightly more challenging at the beginning.
What I recommend is maxing health, recovery speed and recovery rate. In general all related to health.

While recovering with maxed health recovery rate: at a single time you heal them and (I think) yourself up to 100% HP whether you're landing the goods/perfects or not. While landing them you get their buff power up to a max, yours up to 50%.

Increasing your max health to 200 can also help you. You basically have some health to tank the zombies, when taking damage from zombies you build your vitality. Ofc you can just take skill to restore vitality over time but I think it's a waste.
If you combine sage mode skill with maxed health, during your buff active the health increases to a whopping 300 points!
After you lose buff it goes down to 200 but before that some zombies are gonna take it down anyway. If not, you're still at max health.

If you heal up to 200 HP and activate sage mode it just heals up to 300 automatically so the synergy of health regen, regen speed and health boost is just nicely complemented by sage mode.
Also sage mode makes all hits in the enemy's body count as a headshot... no you don't get more points, but you deal damage as if it's a headshot. Does it deal 4 times the damage if it's a real headshot? I dunno, but maybe that's the reason why tintans are dying so quick for me :KEK:

Overall, it's a those three skills on the top + steel body complement each other very nicely.
These skills are actually not that useful in the act 13 though so keep that in mind. Maybe restore vitality over time would be better if you need more vitality right there.

Restore vitality over time is actually good, but I think it's a waste. Why a waste? Because with my current set of skills I can take a lot of damage, charge my vitality up to a max and still have half of my HP or something.

Ofc they're high level skills but who wants to become op from level 1?

If you're still having trouble getting vitality at low level and getting swarmed by zombies, try this skill
1702425388946.png
it makes you earn vitality every time you melee enemy so just get a melee button on your mouse or somewhere you can reach and use it a lot.

And remember, having your vitality high and recovering often invites more vitality as the girls can use their skills to protect you and each other so if you heal them up but end with low vitality, just get damaged by some zombie and heal right back up. As you can get even 3 vitality rounds for the damage but heal it all while using just one at higher level.
Also the girls having their buff active means they deal with every wave pretty easily, just make sure they don't get jumped by a mutant or when they're surrounded throw a nade at them.

Also yes firework launcher is dumb and pretty much useless. Your better choise is a watergun or a dakimakura :LUL:

Is there any way while on a mission to have sex with the girls infinitely like the first game, instead of having to refill the meter all the time?

dunno what the dev was thinking with this Idol Mode but it's impossible to complete. If you don't have the stats for a live performance the completion bar doesn't even increase, even if you perfect every note. It's impossible to get the stats high enough for every stat through training, even with drinks since you run out of money, and the jump in fans required means you don't have enough turns to even attempt to earn enough money to buy the stat drinks. And don't even get me started on the goddamn slideshow that is the mini game. Does the dev think everyone has a goddamn NASA supercomputer because fuck me the fps drops are unreal.

Don't get me wrong a like this game, but mission 13 and the damn Idol Mode is just poorly thought out.

I haven't really though much about the Tintans, since I haven't run into that many of them by Act7 (which is where I had my first legitimate defeat on Normal difficulty... and that is honestly surprising considering how much I suck at FPS games...) Unless the number of them rises drastically, I doubt they're gonna be enough of an annoyance to really bother with a sniper-rifle for them specifically. I could see it being good, maybe, against the tongue guys and the guys that like to stick the girls in their mouths, because they have moments where they're sitting ducks for an extended period of time... but eh.

Dunno how the latter bosses play out yet, so I can't say if that idea will work out or not.

My MC is currently level 26, so I can't pull off the combo you're suggesting yet... but yes, I am using strikes of fury 2, nerfed though it is from its glory days at launch. I dunno if I'll use the kind of build you're using, or one that uses the Vitality regen passive. I'll see what works for my unskilled self when I get there. Game's grindy as hell, and I only have so many hours in a day to play...

Btw, I have a question. For the skill that upgrades the default pistol of the MC, what's the difference exactly between the revolver and the other gun? Rate of fire? Damage? Does the revolver hit as hard as the Battle Hawk or something? I'll probably play around with both when I get the chance to pick one up and see which fits me better, but I loosely remember from looking around the forum that the revolver is recommended more for some reason?
