I can only think of two wrong choices you did. Did you get the event to decide who to decipher the book (andras / jezera) and did you decide to take helayna for yourself to got the make out scene with andras and alexia? Got the event pretty soon during my playthrough even before a lot of corruption events with Alexia x Andras / Jezeria but got the jezeria corruption events afterwards so my might be a bit buggy (or they changed it so you can get both corruption events now).

But personally don't know what triggers the event so just my assumption. I assume the make out event with andras x alexia after taking helayna is mandatory for the event as it's easy to miss.

Just looked through my saves and found one just before the new event. Just choose "ask 'super bull' for help" -> "no" -> "meet 'super bull' later". Then go to 'cucks' room and choose "show event - the challenge"

Oh no I completely understand that part, Rowan is in a bad spot that much is very clear. Its what I was referring to regarding this being unique. But as I mentioned in my other post, there are certain things that just show up constantly and don't really get addressed. He makes a joke about the dick thing, but the reason I mention is because it just keeps happening in the game to the point of like NTR manga parody. Its clearly something that is being used to degrade him or something Rowan is lacking if all of his antagonists flaunt this. Which is fine if Rowan can do something about it, you're going to keep bringing up this characteristic
then let the player do something about it. Clearly a world full of magic, even the wife( I believe) grows one that is bigger than Rowans. Maybe this is something he can do during the up coming revolt content half way, that would be fitting I guess and no other art would have to be changed then because it would just be how things are drawn going forward. Thats why I mention it, its something that endlessly happens in the game. It kind of casts a shadow over the other content Rowan is in.

As for slowly planning his way for victory, it honestly doesn't come off that way. His wife treats him unreasonably and he basically doesn't stand up for himself. he corruption seems to happen way to easily, everyone just gives in instantly. Rowan doesn't really seem like he's getting anywhere as much as just being able to avoid certain things. I'd happy to have a slow build up if there actually seems like there is a plan or something we are working towards. But that doesn't really get shown as taking place in a meaningful manner anywhere.

He's not really getting his own power, we aren't getting real hints of we are heading towards a victory over anyone. I'm fine with the long game if they're going to put as much detail, in the revolt in utterly destroying the Twins. Making the twins his bitch, like I said I'd want as much detail of Rowan corrupting Andras into a weak succubus or something. The same level of detail that Andras has on the MANY many many scenes of him fucking Rowans wife and the many many scenes of him making Rowan his bitch. Which just endlessly increases.

Alright that sounds great, where is the meaningful choices where what we did actually does something that effects anything other than if you get cucked? Where are the scenes where you're building up towards that upcoming revolt or doing any sort of self improvement that is meaningful enough to corrupt the sister to your side during it? I'm just not seeing that aspect being portrayed well in the game so far.

This is what all lead to the original post I made, there aren't much hints of Rowan making progress as much it seems he's going sideways fast instead of forwards.

Okay okay. There is a ghost of a reasonable piece of feedback here. What I can attempt to divine is that you are saying:

"There is an insufficient amount of screen time spent in the game showing Rowan clearly engaging in acts of overt sedition. Most of the buildup is spent with either smaller, interpersonal acts of defiance, or just networking (fucking) people in the castle. The latter is actually buildup, but it's not framed as such."

Thus, what you are asking for is more moments in the game (conditionals/events) that show Rowan actively taking steps to destroy the twins.

However, I used the word over and clearly for a reason. Someone paying attention in the game would see Rowan has the option to really fuck over the twins in ways larger then just making friends and accumulating money.

- Twisting key castle characters against the twins (follow the charachter events)
- Helping Helayna escape, with all of her accumulated knowledge
- Damaging the Orciad tribe by rescuing Delane.
- Helping the core of the Rosarian defenders escape Rastedel.
- Deliberately installing loyalists in key positions (Jacques, Rowan-Loyal Patricia, Tarish)

Those are important things to be fair and probably more important really to be focused on first. But the tool used to cause those ahegaos is important also and like I said in that most recent long post. I only bring it up, because its clearly something the game makes a keynote of with its design. I won't repeat myself much on that point, not sure how I can cover it more than there. If the game didn't keep showing things that way, I wouldn't notice. Which it seems like that was the point, which if this is another thing Rowan needs work on and grow so to speak like with everything else. Thats fine, Rowan drinking a potion or using magic to correct the issue when he starts rebelling is an easy plot point I guess. Fitting for a game with porn where women regularly grow dicks.

Don't be too harsh on empowering games. I happen to enjoy a good number of H-games about a male MC going around fucking women. I got my start in H-games writing for HaremVX. I can think of a good number of games like that I follow, and I see the appeal of it. I don't consider such things Banal, and there's lots of room for creative expression in the genre (that is not nearly as well tapped as I'd like).

But, Seeds of Chaos is just not that kind of raw empowerment fantasy. There are empowering elements to it, and I think someone could enjoy it on those terms. But, the game is designed to posses more pathways of appeal. There's a lot of benefits to it. The broad shotgun approach to fetishes and pairings that we have is a consequence of something that games that center empowerment to the detriment of other forms of engagement would lack.

Can confirm. We have spent literally days in a brutal verbal death struggle over the mechanics of the Elven Economy. But, I cannot in my recollection ever think of a single time anyone on the team has discussed the mechanics of Rowan's dick size once. The artists just draw it, I guess.

A person can be submissive to females and dominant over males or vice versa. What's more, one can be dom/sub towards certain characters, and these dynamics can change over time, so it makes sense to not have these traits limiting character choices.

That's largely true, however something like a dominant or submisive tag is still very useful dev side, because you can write conditionals that are meaningful based on a single simple flag. Someone could set it up so that the dominant or submisive flag only flies with specific genders, but that's somewhat more conditional work. More to the point, some people are Dominant or Submisive with diffrent partners within the same gender. Unless you wanted to do it as "dominant with x charachter", but that's so minute that it loses the entire advantage of doing it as a tag rather then as an indipendent stat. Overall, at some point a developer needs to say "enough is enough, this conditional covers everything."

Also, this is all hypothetical though. Again, we're just not going to do tags like that because it's too hard to retrofit into a game.

Well there's sex with a pregnant woman in Orciad. Act 1 as in the current segment of the game that ends at Rastdel. What I will say is that we do plan to do more with pregnancy further into the game.

I personally like how the devs handle the ntr parts (slowly seducing / corrupting alexia) so I can just assume andras is the protagonist for these events and yes even during the ntr routes alexia only gets seduced by andras more because he cares for her instead of her husband, or at least makes her believe that he does, less cause of his dick size.

Personally don't like ntr by rape / creepy guy / many different guys etc. That's something alot of game do wrong imo that's why I usually avoid ntr but am happy about trying it out in soc. Now I usually wait 4-6 months till there are some more alexia events and pledge the 5$ as I like them the most.

Btw alexia can get ntred by Jezera too and I assume that Rowan has at least a bigger dick than her (for now). My wife's boyfriend agree's too.

they said on their patreon page (and in some previous posts) that you'll have to start a new game. This version isn't compatible with old saves.

I think that's just the new save system, which no longer seems to show time/date. To name a save, try hovering over a save and just typing.

But the game is reactive, but limited. The main thing you have to keep in mind is imperfect information. While both Alexia and Rowan can cheat, 90% of the time neither is aware of it. There are exceptions, of course.

Well I went in hard and played through this game while fighting off my earlier grudges. The art and story are so good I could probably do it a few more times. I (reluctantly) spent some time in the walkthrough as well just to make sure I knew what the hell I was talking about before giving feedback this time around.

The biggest change was that I learned that I was playing this game under a major misconception: That this game was NTR focused. It would be more accurate to say that this game's main focus is corruption considering the mechanics. Therefore, my previous statements about quitting part-way through partly because of my desire to pursue a 100% faithful Rowan route vs. Alexia NTR route and have that recognized was ignorance on my part. The fact that Rowan is not corrupted, however, is indeed apparent many times throughout the game. That said, I still think that it would be neat if there were some unique dialogue that recognizes it, but from a developer perspective I would find it difficult to implement not because of the complexity but because of the simplicity of some of the persistent events.

That was the easy half. The second half of the reason I was dropping the game is far more complex. Before trying to explain it I feel the need to inform you that I am biased toward CG hunter games; Games where the developer rewards the player with a picture (Good job!). I have a feeling deep within my gut that the developers of Seeds of Chaos are not attempting to create a CG hunter game, however, if this is in-fact Chaos Seed: The CG Hunter then there is no need to read any further.

The best way to paint how I feel while playing this game I could come up with was a series of tunnels. You're traveling through several tunnels that sometimes curve, sometimes they fork, and there's SO many tunnels to choose from! Sounds really awesome to me. The issue, however, is that while all of these unique tunnels take you to many different places they all have one thing in common: A Dead End. This can be overlooked easily in most cases with enough distraction but certainly not in the case of Alexia and how she is presumably spending her time while Rowan is away. I'm not suggesting an onslaught of sloppy pussy and debauchery in my face every week. I'm suggesting a more accurate and deliberate rotation of imagery that better describes the current state of affairs. If Alexia's path is corrupted, perhaps more erotic imagery would be necessary. For example, why not reuse that Greyhide image where she's kneeling down sometimes if their relationship reached that point? That's what I mean by CG hunting. Put her on this Job > Get the CGs > Route End > Look for new CGs

The big three are three basic routes, but we're still settling the exact sub-routes. One route where Rowan remains the twins servant. And two routes where he remains in conflict of them. One where he's still relatively pure trying to stop evil. And one where he's corrupted to chaos but still hungers for vengeance.

So I have a question about the basic premise. So, a number of people (ie: Cla-min) point out that chaos is not Necessarily evil. Meanwhile, the way that one race (I forget the name) dominates the religion of the forces of Order reeks of corruption. If so, is there going to be some nuance for Rowan/Alexia to grapple with that, maybe try to balance order and chaos in themselves.

I agree about probably most of this but STRONGLY agree about the Alexia job images. It would feel a lot better if, instead of the same plain image over and over when you potentially finished getting all new scenes for that specific job, there were some reused/reoccuring events to make it not feel so dead end-ish. When you reach the end and Rowan has multiple scenes available to continue seeing and Alexia just sorta stops all relations feels a bit weird. Though I will acknowledge that there seems to be a recurring HJ scene for the bar job and I appreciate that.

Let me rephrase that, unique event chains that reached their conclusion or self contained events, not including events like "you found a mine" with 0 content and just stat change. From my memory there wasn't that many of them when i played it last time, there was a ton of events with no content that changed stats, set up lore/setting, introduced something (character, mechanic, some info) that had either no use or the use for that wasn't implemented at the time and other filler.
Or just a number of unique sex scenes (actual sex, not teasing or foreplay) as i assume that would directly correlate with the rest of content - which might be wrong assumption, but it would answer my question pretty well.
