I'm sorry, I was under the impression that a threesome with two girls counted as Group Sex? Or is a threesome - NTR as well? I really need to learn more about all this stuff.

In any case, all sex scenes will be optional and avoidable. The player isn't forced to be together intimately with anyone during the actual game.

NTR is definitely misunderstood by a lot of people. Sharing, FMM, is not NTR. NTR is making the MC jealous. Being cucked also isn't NTR because the one being cucked likes it. NTR is being cucked without "consent". Definitely not for me, but to each their own. Cheating is also NTR.

Completely valid point. I guess I'm letting the pressure of trying to please everyone (even though I know it's impossible) get to me a bit. The drawback of not interacting with similar communities before and never creating anything like this in the past.

I stand by the Future Tags that I've mentioned (before Swinging/Pregnancy) as definite ones cause all of them have already been planned, but you're right that I should be clearer about which target audience I'm aiming for.

Pleasing everybody is impossible. It sounds like you have a clear vision for your VN, and some tags you are considering. You will find there are communities here that have strong feelings both ways about many tags. Pleasing all or the majority of folks is impossible. The best thing you can do is to make the game you want to make and let your audience find you. I've watched plenty of devs bow to audience pressure...never seen it work out well for them.

Total agreement. Trying to please everyone, is the quickest way for a dev to burnout and become disheartened. Games usually end up abandoned when that occurs. I'd just prefer a dev to write what they want and if I like it, I'll play it. If not, I just wish the devs well and bounce my ass out and find something else.

Here is a tool that I use to see what's behind the Ren'py story choices. (Only works for the Ren'py engine)

Install: Extract and copy the 0x52_URM file into your game folder, and then run the SeekingClosure.exe. When ever a story choice or story requirement check happens, a small box in the top left-hand corner of your screen will appear. Also, this great little tool will not affect (break) your game saves, like some game mods can (forcing users to wait until the game wt-mod is updated). And this tool can be used for almost all ren'py game titles, and can work alongside wt-mods, with no issues.

Hello.

Finally tried the game itself and it was a really good first release.

The worldbuilding is beautiful.
The characters are few and different. And most of them are interesting.
The plot seems nice but complex at the same time.
The artistic side is well done.

The idea is really ambitious : going back to the past to build the protagonist we are now. The MC is a really good character in which we can sink in. The girls are nice, even the ones with a sharp tongue (outside the mother...). Sebastian is very funny. Not sure about the other males. Each character has enough screen time to have an idea about their personality outside Joseph and the unknown guy that strikes on us when we go to eat breakfast. The story is well paced as well.
There are many choices already. Not sure I'm fine with all of them, particularly when there's only two choices, since we don't know yet the outcome outside the obvious ones.
The sex scene with the wife was good but too mechanical. The same with the special treatment from Lara.
The music is also well chosen and goes well with the atmosphere.

rafaaa I have the story outline written out but it’s too early for me to say how many chapters I’ll need to tell it because I want each update to be a new chapter and I don’t want to make them so big that the wait for new content takes forever, especially at the start.

boulimanus Thank you for the positive feedback, and you’re right about the “fiance” bit and a good point on the seatbelt.
Sorry to disappoint you but the story is planned to have regular time jumps (with most of the time being spent in the past for the first half of the game and then the other half being focused on the present).

ilon55 Noted on the instant backtracking after giving a “rude answer”. The game does have a variable that increases every time you pick such an option so I’ll try to make it work in a way that makes you gradually make a character who doesn’t back down.

Thank you for the detailed review. I'm glad you enjoyed most of it and I'll try to work on my weaknesses as I go forward.
The 18+ scenes did feel a bit off for me as I was making them, I can only hope future scenes will become more natural as I gain more experience and maybe I'll revisit the existing ones at some point to improve them.
I do plan to uphold the consensual idea for the entire project, yes.

Pretty great start to the game, switching timelines is an interesting idea too. I just have a small issue with VNs that start us in a relationship already. I'm sure Julia is a nice girl but the past is calling to me.

That's good to hear, but need more precise information. Is it possible to date/sleep just one girl through entire playthrough?

You can stay loyal to just one girl but with the caveat that your "present" self is dating Julia at the start no matter what. However, you can avoid all intimate scenes with her and eventually break up with Julia to reunite with your favorite girl from the past (assuming she's one of the main love interests and a few other factors).

I understand that it can be annoying to be forced into a relationship at the start. I've played a couple of VNs where I didn't like that too, but that is a decision that I made for this story and I'm going to stick to it.

Really enjoyed the game so far. Keep up the good work. Might just be a personal preference of mine but the h-scenes seem a little too slow-motion for my taste. Kind of suspends belief if you know what I mean. Either way i really enjoyed the story and where its heading and your renders are very good as well.

Thank you for the positive feedback and for the criticism as well. I was on the fence about whether some of the animations were too slow (one day I viewed them and they felt alright, then on a different night they felt sluggish) so I'll definitely keep that in mind in the future.

Also, I definitely feel the same vibe from the song you posted and I really liked it as well so cheers for that!

There are only 7 different girls on the cover (there will be more added to the game though, even though not all of them will be love interests).

And yes you can romantically/sexually ignore everybody that you don't like. That said, if this game isn't for you, that's totally fine.
