everytime i launch the game, I am stuck on the page. When I select English, it goes into not responding mode before it reloads back into this window. Not sure how to fix it. No mods have been installed or used.

I'm like 99% certain that screen shouldn't be in the game anymore, and when I unpacked the PC version just now, it wasn't there.

Alright, be sure to completely delete the previous version (cause it looks like it's opening an old version of the first scene in the script), and if you're still having the issue, please let me know which specific file hosting website you've downloaded the game from.

if anyone else is having the stuck on the language select screen bug
a quick fix is to go to the game folder, open the script.rpy file in notepad
and on line 50 add a number sign to comment the line
# $ renpy.utter_restart() <--like this
and then save
