I don't actually get why someone would be upset, they can still have Julia as an LI, they just now make a choice.

I had one game where my favorite LI was forced at the start and people complained. Dev made a remake and made her optional, didn't bother me one bit. In the remake I can just choose her (it took a little longer to build the relationship, but so that other people could choose someone else without having to cheat or breakup with her, I thought was fair enough).

Yeah, heh, people here get upset over different issues, one thing I learned from this forum is to never get surprised.

Like, in another thread (you played that game recently and gave your feedback) some people got upset because one of the LIs changed her make-up and hairstyle for a date - some players literally said they dropped her route because of that (while personally I find that hairstyle cute actually).
Or in a few other threads some players got upset because people don't like their favourite LIs.

It never really ceases to amaze me how differently some people's minds work — not saying it's good or bad, it just is.

As for Seeking Closure - when Captain Crystallo asked, I said I’d be fine with whichever decision he makes (probably because she is one of my favs ), so I would have been okay even without any changes — but I do realize, of course, that not everyone is that tolerant.

I assume some people think that "rework" means that the original option would no longer be available, and you'd be forced to start the game single, hence why they feel upset.

I think I know what you are talking about I actually didn't find her hot till the sex one of the best sex scenes ive seen. But yeah I find some people are picky over the smallest thing.

Hell yeah, let's do that. Let's also have all the LIs force sex scenes on the MC and then cheat on him later and have him be okay with it.

What I proposed is cuck, what you proposed is cuckquean, and they are both terrible ideas in this story.

I don't think it's a bad idea since the protagonist cucked her already, she just needs to be a good girl and accept he will continue to do so if she wants to be with him.

There are many games when you can cheat on the women already so it would be nice if it gets implemented, not only in text but in renders and animations, here as well.

But either way, I don't really care that much , dev will do his own thing, so agree to disagree.

yeah if you expect a sweet girl like that to be okay with him cheating then turning in to a cuckqueen I have to 100% disagree. She comes across the type that doesn't share and cheating would hurt her and just to accept that and then be into the whole cuckqueen thing I think would be so much out of character for her from the little bit we have seen. Not to mention it would diminish any consequences for cheating on her when she finds out.

I still don't get that people want to bring their favorite thing into every game they play. I much prefer the variety and doing different things. People really just want to play the same thing over and over just with different faces in every game.

like how every game needs a redhead with green eyes and freckles I mean I personally like my redheads look wise but they rarely turn out to be my favorite character. Tho I have say very few of those redheads I even consider a real ginger as well tho might be the image I have in my head but usually the freckles go beyond the face but the whole body haha.

What you described is the general direction I plan to take. The game starts with them in the car, and the MC briefly thinking about how Julia was helpful, kind, etc, which is why:
a) They started dating a while back and are now going on this trip together so that he can figure out the long-term potential of their relationship. (In this case, most of the scenes with Julia will remain unchanged, so very little extra work for me).

b) He decided to take Julia on a trip as a "thank you" for all her friendly support, and to see if they could potentially start a romantic relationship or if they should remain friends. (This is what I suspect will be the "default" option for most people and this route will require changing most of the scenes with Julia, but it is highly requested and it does make sense.)

I think this is the best decision you could make in this tough situation.
I'll follow the original scenario of course, to respect your original vision and maintain the important element of the MC's mistakes weighing on him. A straightforward reunion with Elena would feel too anticlimactic for such a melancholic and dramatic game. Also, keeping Julia is not much of a problem to me anyway, as she is my 2nd favourite girl (after the aforementioned Elena).

I think this is the best decision you could make in this tough situation.
I'll follow the original scenario of course, to respect your original vision and maintain the important element of the MC's mistakes weighing on him. A straightforward reunion with Elena would feel too anticlimactic for such a melancholic and dramatic game. Also, keeping Julia is not much of a problem to me anyway, as she is my 2nd favourite girl (after the aforementioned Elena).

Captain Crystallo no idea if you thought this far ahead or not. But when there is consequences for cheating on Julia will the scene be different for every girl. Only asking as I was probably only gonna play the cheating path one on only one save if it isn't. But if it will be slightly different might be best just to have all my saves as a cheating save and make 1 extra save for the non cheating route that isn't Julia unless all those scenes are planned to play out a little differently too if and when Julia finds out about you choosing a different girl.
