Lately the compressed version is quite often posted earlier then the OP gets updated. The F95 staff is - with maintaining all the games - already a bit behind them. Just checked, even a Android version is already updated from a porter.

That is a path in the game, yes. The ending itself is still far off.

I can't say if you should play it now. Chapter 8 finishes the events at the resort, but Chapter 9 will be the one that ends Part 1 of the game and gets the MC back into the present timeline.
As for the forced girlfriend, starting the game with her as your girlfriend will be made optional instead of mandatory, but that hasn't been implemented yet. That change will be made in the final version of Part 1 that I plan to put up on Steam.

True. Would have been easier if CC made her into a bitch, but she's such a nice person, I feel like really bad (because she's not the one I want and have to cheat). She's that nice, that even those who like to cheat would feel guilty about it, if they had even a little bit of humanity in them.

Brilliant update Captain Crystallo. I stand by what I said a few days ago, you are doing an amazing job with this ambitious project. Your branching is perfect considering how extensive it is. I went back and replayed some of the present stuff after finishing my main path and the dialogue matches so well with things that have now happened. I thought I'd found a continuity issue but:

Very happy to hear you enjoyed the latest chapter!
I think there will be some continuity issues in the dialogue, but those can be touched up once they are pointed out to me.
Just as a note, Chapter 9 isn't the present yet, but rather a bridge between the two timelines so that the players finally know everything that the MC knows in the present timeline.

It's only a spoiler on a certain path, on other paths it doesn't happen. But don't click on it. I know you, you don't want to know, But I would move it up your list to play, a lot of stuff is answered and connected in this update.

It does appear that from CH9 cheating will be out and you'll focus on one girl. (Not sure how that will affect Julia though).
If you are playing for Julia, you could skip this update (she is not in it at all).

The cheating will still be possible, but it sounds like we get a choice added early on in Ch9 if Julia is your girlfriend or not.
I don't really see the point in running up my solo/non-cheating saves, if I need to run it back in the next update because a new variable got added at the start.

I meant cheating between the other girls (not including Julia, she is obviously a different case). It appears that you won't be able to be with Anna & Micaela (for example) after this chapter.

Good game, I like the story but not so much the planning and developing of the tags *cough* it's missing the good harem path. With so many nice girls to choose from, it's a letdown, but still, it is an enjoyable game.
The throuple of Anna and Elena is great, I wonder if there would be the same relationship path for Micaela/Katy (there was a threesome and you can calm the waters between them but at the end of chapter 8, you don't get a hint for a possible throuple like there is with Elena/Anna) and another for Susan/Fleur (I want to also point out my disappointment with the dev for only making Susan's relationship path available through leaving aside the daughter and having her kidnapped in the last chapters. Also, there should be a path for a threesome with both of them too, it seems that in the present timeline, Susan and Fleur are eager to rekindle their relationship with the MC so this should be a path. The french flowers should be held at the same time).
Also, I was shocked by the bold choice of making it possible for Brianna to die...I found the reactions and suffering from part of the Seb lacking for her death even from the MC. Well, it should be fine enough to make a closure if someone goes that path.
It seems like all paths lead to someone dying during the kidnapping... Is there no way to stop them somehow? I also found it stupidly funny that Joseph's son has plot armor to escape... Seb lacked the power to do anything to him and punched the crap out of him, then he punched and was choking Katy, and somehow he also dealt with the MC. It seems like that guy is just unstoppable, lmao. It was satisfying to punch the old shit two times, but having his threat and not being able to kill him right there is a letdown... There would be no plot for what's to come if you could end him, so it's understandable.
I was left confused with the story of how Julia gets to know the MC. Who is exactly the one who died in that hospital? His mother?
Is there any thought in the planning to make it possible to have an ending path with more than two girls? Maybe the five principal love interests at the same time? Or maybe a possible combo with the primary and secondary LI?
Anyway, given that a harem would not be possible, I've lost my hopes for an Elena/Anna/Katy/Micaela/Susan/Fleur path.
