So just skimming the comments and it seems there are many paths and some paths will lead to a LI being raped, kidnapped or killed. I'm fine with the rape tag when it's the MC doing it but a LI getting raped by someone else is way different. Its emotional damage I'd rather avoid completely. I'm really on the fence of playing this because I like most the tags but unfortunate theres no Harem option. The mod looks like it just tells you point fluctuation and not how to avoid certain things. Is this one of those games thats just dark and depressing the whole time?

if I recall the dev said in the next update including a small update to the rape content , so you can skip it and not see it if your choices lead to that. But I believe there is a way to not see it at all but hard to get. I'd say only the last few updates were dark most of the time it's a good fun time for the MC.
I put in a spoiler a little context about the rape scene. For me this games rape scene wasn't that tough to watch compared to other games ive seen. I thought it was much harder to see them beaten to death or close to it.

Thanks for the time to reply and info. I appreciate it. To me the implication that it happened is just as bad as watching the scene in full. I understand that it may be an unfair view but that just how I see it. Same with the supposed scene of seeing one of the LI at a hotel with a guy. Which I know the dev cleared up. I enjoy darker content when it's the MC doing it. I understand it may be a bit hypocritical but Pov make all the difference to me. I didnt come here expecting changes or anything just info. Thanks!

I would argue it does. Cause some people just don't want to see it but are okay with knowing it just happened in the story. Yeah changes nothing about the story but it can change ones comfort level about such dark topics. Since knowing and seeing are 2 very different things.
no problem funny i'm on the opposite I don't have any problems with darker content when it's done my other characters but I hate it when my MC is the one doing it unless it's something killing a bad guy / person. But when the dark content involved doing stuff to a LI even a girl unless I really dislike said girl I don't like it in AVN's. Normal video games no problem for me lol.

1) The LIs only get sexually assaulted or raped if you don't romance them.
2) There is no harem, but for the most part you can romance almost everyone with no trouble.
3) I wouldn't say the game is dark (except the latest Chapter). It can certainly be a bit depressing, though I think melancholic is the more accurate word. Yet for the most of it, the MC is actually having lots of fun.
I hope the spanking scenes are good!

I mean you aren't forced to be on her path as a romantic LI. Doesn't mean she will disappear from the game which im glad about hate it when that happens.
Pretty much why i hate having a girlfriend in these games, why do i have to break her heart to pursue others?
Partially why harem may be worth more in this, not full collectioner mode but maybe one girl with your current gf or something. The more i play with her, the more i feel bad for Julia. I wasnt the one agreed to a relationship with this kind of baggage, its forced to me. Other than that, game is cool i think.
Elena and lara can die? but on the before chapter i have scene with her on present. So it seem it's decided based on option in the previous ch... hmm..
In my playthrough Samantha is the one died, so i thought mc mother also dead by illness or accident since it doesn't make sense how he break down and cut relationship with elena etc.

Yes, the pathing is excellent in this.
(You only get the earlier 'future' scene with Elena if you are on her path and if you are on her path, she can't die.)
Seems like it's been forever but really less than 6 months. Over 6 months is generally extreme.

Sadly, it's going to be a while yet before the next chapter is done.
My life has been hell in the last 5 months, so I wasn't able to work on the game properly for most of that time.
I'm aiming for a late Fall release, but that's assuming the world stops screwing me over every few weeks.

Hello, I’ve played up to around scene 148b. After the choice appears to go with one of the girls or choose no one the game keeps looping: talks with Fleur, then switches to Lara, then goes back to Fleur again. It doesn’t move on to scene 149.
