1.8 is just another bugfix, according to Changelog in opening post. MTL in 1.8 is... horrendous. You can't read most of the texts as they overlap each other place on screen. I'll try 1.7.1 adjusted translation, I'll update if it's better or not.

what key? Apartment key is obtained by buying it from gangster at night (around 22.00 maybe?) in the construction site. While the home key (married couple house) obtained from Fishermen shop in the mountain by obtaining fish point from fishing.
Don't bother using it if you're trying to lvl up lewdness lvl. The exp gain is small compared to manual ways.
