Unofficial dialogue fix.

For those who were unhappy with the writing, here are the updated scripts with fixed English dialogue.

My fixes include-

1- Corrected the screwed up relationship naming that plagues the game.
2- Made the dialogue flow more naturally.
3- Remained true to the original story and the characters.
4- Fixed some parts that didn't make sense.

Old saves would probably work but you wouldn't see all the fixes, so I suggest starting over. It takes less than 90 minutes to play though the entire game.


I have also included the script files if you prefer to go that route.

*You must install script 4 if you used my old scripts in version 0.4.

Not sure how WT mods work. The dialogue was improved but nothing about the story is changed. So I would think that choosing particular options will still lead to the desired results.

Yeah, sometimes WT mods change the script files, so depending how it was made, it may replace the script back to the OG game. Sometimes, they just affect the choices. Just depends on how the mod was created/what files it changes. Was just curious if you knew.

no the changelog does not get updated, the devs naming is v0.1, v0.2 ... v0.5. this is not the second release

If you had checked their Patreon feed, you could have seen that the previous update was 0.4 and 0.5 was a public update a handful of days after supporters got access to it. And it hadn't leaked in this site after the demo/intro. (I'm not their patron but I usually check dev's post feed if anything bothers me, like a sudden version number change. Sometimes devs might change version numbering if they decided to remake/remaster existing content.)

In general the version number can be anything. AVN devs can have the most confusing version numbering mixing chapters from books, seasons and episodes from tv series, and "traditional" game versioning a.b.c.d. Let's not forget partial updates, such as "chapter 3 episode 2.2 part 2 of x"! Also, to some v1.0 is the complete game/VN, but to others v1.0 might be the first published update or the first chapter/season/episode/scene/act, or anything. Or, they didn't bother to change the default version number of a new Renpy project. Some devs don't know the meaning of a version number so it might be an empty string, or maybe they didn't know how not to show the version number in main_menu and about screens (talking about screens in the default Renpy project).
