So from patreon, December 23 is just going to be the remake of chapter 1. I was really hoping the next release would be the overhaul of all the content so far but... I'm not surprised. I'm in favour of the new system - adds something dynamic to the characters, they don't just let you dictate all the sex scenes. I'm not in favour of how long it took to get here, and how far back we've gone for it.

So after half a decade we're back to an early alpha. I think he should have at least wrapped up the previous VN version, and worked on a new title with these new rpg mechanics. It would be a lot less disappointing to people who backed you all this time. This is all starting to sound very familiar.

This post is a textbook example of damage control.

He says he’s “pleasantly surprised” by how much people liked the old version. But instead of owning up to scrapping it and disappointing his supporters, he brushes it off like it’s a compliment. This feels like he’s trying to soften the blow while quietly moving on from what people originally invested in. He got almost 4k per month to work on that specific game and was "suprised" now.

He says he’s going to organize all his notes into a single document this week and start working on a new first chapter next week. This feels like yet another round of stalling tactics. He’s essentially saying, "I’ll start building a foundation soon," when he’s had years to get this together. Why wasn’t this done earlier? And given his history, how likely is it that this will actually happen?


- He admitted the old game had no proper main story, yet it took years to address this now?.
- The new ideas are vague and overly ambitious, considering his track record of slow progress.
- He’s focusing on writing the main story now, which is something that should have been foundational from the start.


To really grasp how much of a leech this guy is, consider this: the project was started on December 2017, that’s the oldest post you’ll find from him on Patreon. Somehow, Alek is the only person in the world who can "work" for almost 8 years and deliver absolutely nothing.

Now, compare that to someone I use to support, Sirens Domain. They managed to create multiple separate games, never scrapping entire projects just because they had a new idea. They actually delivered on their promises, with completed games that had compelling stories and a ton of characters. Meanwhile, Alek has wasted everyone’s time and money with nothing to show for it, he rakes in almost 4k perr month to work on this single renpy game.


And to really expose his true character and how he views his supporters, just take a look at this quote from one of his other posts:

You’ve got to give him credit, working his ass off for years and still having absolutely nothing to show for it. That’s an achievement in itself.

Like the above say... he could have spent a bit more time wrapping up what he already had before remaking it. Even if he wasn't fully happy with it, he had enough money on the table to bring it some sort of conclusion.

Oh well. It looks like he might actually keep updating it, so... in another 2 or 3 years we might get back to where we are, and then maybe by 2030 we might get past it. but, I'm not going to stay invested in the meantime. Which is a real shame, because I like the old game and the new ideas, and I would be looking forward to it - but the income vs the progress just doesn't line up in a way I can get behind.

Dude released Version 1.0 on December 22, 2022.

After that, he kept posting about changes to pictures he made, which always seemed to take him over a month for some reason. Most of those posts were just hyping up something supposedly exciting on the way.

By November 25, 2024, Version 2.0 was finally released, but instead of living up to the hype, it was just the same content he had been teasing a year ago. To make things worse, all the features from Version 1.0 were removed, leaving us with even less than what we had nearly two years earlier. His excuse? 'I need to make something new.' Sounds more like he spent two years banking donations while posting one picture a month to keep his supporters content. Now, after all that time, all he has to show for it is a 2-minute demo featuring images he shared over a year ago. My takeaway so far, he'll just keep releasing these pointless demos, then go back to posting pictures to milk even more out of his supporters.

I feel like these 2 quotes directly clash against one another. saying its not a replacement but a new beginning is saying that its not getting replaced but still a new thing is made of it, therefore the old is replaced by the new right?

Yes there is a huge gap sometimes between players and developers. Players don't understand always how programming and game dev works. but it goes for both sides. How often have devs made changes to games that players hated and caused the game to fail. People got into this game for its sex scenes with futa, thats the main draw to it, from a personal feeling the change to a suddenly skill based talking/battle/romance where I need to understand what each skill does, son im here to jack off to futas. not making a character build.
also the biggest elephant being the 2 years of no new public game release while still raking in patreon money. the dev mightve seen it as RnD time but you gotta know your clients. eventually they want their product or some sort of result of investment.

Usually these elements are added to pad out pathetic amount of content, there is a good reason a lot of games have stupid bullshit attributes or stupidly difficult bosses, it's to get player stuck repeating the same thing over and over so that they don't realize how little content the game actually has.

Part 5 includes al content from the parts before (it's a translation issue on the dev's part. He should've used decimal points). Part 6 however is a 'revamp' that has basically none of the content of the previous parts and is essentially a demo for the new gameplay systems.

The parts aren't episodes or go in chronological order, they're more like the game in different stages of development. God knows why the dev called them parts.
