I deleted those folders, and got a clean save. But as the other guy, I got stuck in the "skip cutscene" loop, even though I removed the correct folders. Any ideas?

Are you sure you didn’t accidentally delete any important folders? You didn’t delete the custom pose folder by any chance? If not, then I don’t know.
Didn't delete custom pose, going to try a clean install and see if it works. Thanks for the reply!
the game has pretty poor optimization. im running a 'new laptop' (not gaming laptop) and i have to run/restart the game a few times before it actually goes through, mainly because of the cutscene at the start of the game. very memory intensive
