Would the game be considered less offensive if the protagonist was portrayed as more villainous? Maybe it would help if the dev had Hitler raping and sexually torturing people?

I'm just...I'm at a lost for words...there are tons of sex games here that can hardly be played, have garbage graphics, TO MANY GAY Furry games, and out all of that...we have a game with Hitler getting hot as hell women...What level of crack and weed was the creator of this smoking? Even then, I think someone who does that makes more sense, and certainly wouldn't like Hitler.

This is not how things were neither how history works. Winers have ways to influence the general understandment about a historical process, but they can't rewrite history to the point that well informed people don't know what happened about things of this magnitude. Do not pretend a general ignorance to justify any opinion as neo-nazis do.
We know who started the war against every attempt to apease. We know who had a plan to erradicate etnicities with millons and tens of millons persons. It is not a mistery, is an out loud spoken fact, with millons of testimonys and documents to prove that. We know wich violence was designed as a goal and wich one as an instrument, wich one was active and wich one was reactive. Any attempt to subert the narrative as you try is not smart, is not cool, its stupid beyond belief.
