This. If veterans who died on beaches of Normandy on D-day asked if their efforts were worth it, I would show them this.

This is not how things were neither how history works. Winers have ways to influence the general understandment about a historical process, but they can't rewrite history to the point that well informed people don't know what happened about things of this magnitude. Do not pretend a general ignorance to justify any opinion as neo-nazis do.
We know who started the war against every attempt to apease. We know who had a plan to erradicate etnicities with millons and tens of millons persons. It is not a mistery, is an out loud spoken fact, with millons of testimonys and documents to prove that. We know wich violence was designed as a goal and wich one as an instrument, wich one was active and wich one was reactive. Any attempt to subert the narrative as you try is not smart, is not cool, its stupid beyond belief.
ooooh we do know? from where? from people who collects the data? from the media? from the governement? or from the people in a one to one talk?
i would love to remind about syrien and usa, where are the atombombs? america and many other countries always used fake news or half the truth to justifice their actions and bring the people on their side. i dont say everything is a lie but after living the lastfew centuries i grew a scepsis about the truth what we as a population get and whats the real truth.

as an example:
" It was the first conflict in which military action was precipitated by media involvement. The war grew out of U.S. interest in a fight for revolution between the Spanish military and citizens of their colony. fanned the flames of interest in the war by fabricating atrocities which justified intervention in a number of Spanish colonies worldwide. "
the media in this case were an accomplice of the governement and even what we now know could only be a part of the whole truth. a system that tries to control millions of people knows how to influence the knowledge.

+:
the one in charge often deliberal escalate a situation and set themself as the bullied people.
" On December 6, 1941, hours before Japan attacked Pearl Harbor; President Franklin Roosevelt had all the information that America was going to be attacked but did nothing which was somehow intentional. This was when the diplomatic relations between Japan and America were severed. He knew that his fellow citizens were at risk. After Roosevelt had called for peace from the Emperor of Japan and he got no response from the latter. Truly, Roosevelt should have had prepared for war or at least took measures to ensure that all the people in his nation were safe. Also his previous actions against Japan had put the economy of Japan on the brink of collapse. It is therefore reasonable to argue that Japan was ready for revenge with or without winning. The Federal Government of America had refused Japan to get supplies or raw materials from Indochina, and South East Asia making the Japan economy to collapse. "

Japan recently decided to designate the Kamikaze as a world Heritage site, with the slogan "to convey to the world the severity of the war to prevent similar tragedies." The move caused a stir. Kamikaze is a brutal product of militarism trampling on life. However, The Japanese side often renders them as "brave" and "solemn and stirring", which is to beautify the war of aggression and evoke the spirit of fascism.
The so-called "kamikaze",usually refers to the Japanese air Force suicide attack unit in the late World War II. Most were teenagers who flew explosives-laden planes into American warships in an attempt to turn the tide of the war.
