I'm 100% on team "New Mai". HOWEVER, I do find it hilarious how Llama made Mai the sleep creeper in Sexbot. It's like it's both subverting and lampooning the "sleep molester" trope that's in so many incest VNs :ROFLMAO: I like the new Mai, but I thought the old Mai scenes were fucking hilarious.

And while I do hope new Mai is the actual Mai so that she could be a legit member of MC's harem in the new timeline, I don't hate you're idea that she might be a sexbot. I could totally see Mai doing something like that.

Just played through one day of the first day.
Going to save further day 1 playthroughs until the game is further into completion.

The renders are great so far. Seems like the comedy will be up to par. Scenes, possibly even better than the original?

I am really looking forward to the updates in the future - Llamamann you rule!

I am suprise people want old Mai back, i mean there is still Melvin there, They were almost the same, right?

Now i think that people saying sexbot bodies are all the same is wrong: there is Sam that i havent find other girl like her in any AVN, or Daphne, or Steve's mom (i dont remember her name right now), all of them has a different kind of body, man even steph and Lexxx arent really Bimbos, unless you are talking about their faces but that is Llama art.

You're absolutely right. Literally ever girl in Sexbot has a different body shape. True, almost all of them have big tits, but that's really the extent of their physical similarities.

The dude ranting about "bimbos" seems to think the girls are bimbos purely because he doesn't like how big their tits are... But by definition, bimbos are "conventionally attractive but unintelligent" women. In porn games, bimbos are hot girls that project themselves as vacuous, which describes precisely zero characters in Sexbot so far.

If Xel acted like an airhead, then I think she'd count as a stereotypical bimbo, but she's just bubbly (and a literal walking computer, so she's not actually unintelligent).

You were probably skipping through the story and saw the protag envisioning Melvin in Mai's outfits. They aren't anywhere near the same, especially since the storyline rework where

Maybe she used the bot boxes to change her appearance, like in some recalibration events (I mean, that box could turn the protagonist into a puppet and a dildo). But there is another thing with the new Mai, if the previous one looked more like a female version of Melvin, but she also looked like a young and not very attractive version of the evil boss. I know that canonically she is not the daughter of that evil boss and Meico ;);), but I know there is technology in real life to make it possible for two women to have a biological child, and also that the new Mai looks a bit like Meico, maybe he just found a way to take advantage of his possible (and non-canonical ;);)) other dormant genes

just wondering if i am missing something... I think i am through having all the girls over to watch a movie, but i dont know what else to do, it just seems everything is just going around in circles...

Some of these early negative reviews are wild. Literally first version of a sequel, having to basically resetup and do a bunch of exposition, and people are complaining before Llama even has a chance? Dude made a fire game with the first one, the second will take some time, be patient my brothers.
This one has some great QoL updates, and takes off in a great new direction. Also weird to see criticisms of MC. It definitely is an evolution from Game 1. He's more quietly confident, and it shows, and it's consistent with his otherwise still respectful and reserved character. He steps up when needed. Loop One MC never would've stood up to Thad and charmed Ashley.

Some of the other smaller criticisms are valid. I'd love to see some of the main ladies get some slightly upgraded designs. Can we get new default outfits for Emily and co for S2? I know you added outfits, but they only seem to be in the bio screen? I wanna see some new hairstyles and sexy low cut clothes on our favourites during the main story loops! Just some basic twists! Some high ponys. Different color blouses. Pencil skirt for Emily instead of jeans! Or better yet, as they get more 'corrupted', you replay the loops but they're dressed a little skimpier, showing how the effect of the previous timeline run has made them a bit more sexual?
Also agree on some of the wariness with the two new male characters. I get it, there's NTR routes. I didn't touch them too much in the last game. I hope it stays the same here, and doesn't cut into the main story development too much. Give those dogs a bone I guess.
Also also, on the AI. Maybe like one or two posters in the rooms, can be fun, easy to change things up, fine by me. The main dudes are pervs, I like it. I even like AI art. But it's excessive so far. Tone it back. Maybe as an olive branch, commission some REAL fan art for posters and stuff to throw on the walls beside it?

All in all, still a really impressive first look at the new story. Can't wait for it to really dive in. Some of the new stuff, like Zel, new Lexx, and hints at more romance with Ashley, Steph, etc, are all exciting as hell. Will continue to be a patron if it keeps up this positive momentum. Thanks for all your work Llama.

i d like the Yandere gf mai. who secrelty had a crush on MC. and would go to the legnths of creating a sex bot to please his aestetic better

i also think its part of her work? or her mom experimented on her.
COULD mai be melvins new BOT? we havent seen it thus far.
