This means the power is upgraded but only 6 capsules?
The problem is only BEFORE the power is upgraded when you have exactly 6 capsules. The easiest way to know when the problem can occur is to look at the lower right corner of the screen.

If there is a capsule button there it is capsule 6. In this situation you MUST use this button to safely interact with a bot in capsule 6. If you interact with a bot in capsule 6 from within Bot Monitor (the button on the far right of the top row when you are within Bot Monitor) you will activate the error.

After you upgrade the shop this location on the screen has 2 smaller buttons: "Prev" and "Next". In this situation the problem can no longer be activated and you can safely interact with all bots from within Bot Monitor including the bot in capsule 6.

How "worth it" is buying Ray's Bot Parts on Grey Market BBS?
You mean from the grey market posts? If so, it is much cheaper than buying from Ray's online store. Ray's online just have every thing you need. If I need some part quickly, then I would buy from Ray's online. Other than that, I check grey market every time slot and accumulate good parts for later use. I also like to spend some night testing my luck at the flea market. Only up to B grade though. Dumpster diving is also very good sometimes.

Since Grey Market selling has been nerfed, what other ways of selling parts are available (especially F-rated ones)?
Edit: (Wow, I'd forgotten I'd asked before back in May.)

You can sell parts directly from inventory or you can assign a bot or bots to the Shopkeeper role and they will sell them for you. You won't get rich selling parts.

Selling bot makes a whole lot more.
Remind me, can bots gain autonomy from doing their roles?
I want to ask the same. I know that they get the most from training.

I also want to ask about bot experience gain. I know that bots gain social experience from doing housekeeper job. Bedroom toy gain experience from sex. Do techies (senior, and master) gain exp from fixing stuff? And other roles like shop keeper, cler, bot trainer, ...

Bots may gain autonomy any time they gain XP for any reason but they do not always do so. Radnor designed the autonomy skill in a complex way which makes it a little mysterious and I won't reveal the details.

If you don't turn off notifications in the settings you can read the screen and see when bots gain XP. I'm sorry but I believe a lot of the fun in games is figuring things out so I don't answer most questions like this. If you keep track of notifications to figure things out please keep in mind that Radnor liked to use randomizers so things don't happen the same way every time. Watch for trends when an event happens many times and don't get distracted by an unusual outcome.

Sometimes players post information describing how things in the game work and I enjoy readying the posts. Most of the time they are correct or at least partially correct but occasionally people misinterpret why things happen. Of course people who know Renpy programming can read the source code. I don't read Radnor's source code unless it's necessary because I'm adding a new feature to the game. I prefer not to know all of the details about how things work because it takes the fun out of the game. I have to play a lot to test new versions and I like to keep it interesting!

I know. However, bots fixing stuff only list what they fixed. There are a few tasks that don'y say anything about xp gain. My guess is all tasks do gain xp if the bot did something. Anyway, I don't want the details.

I am not 100% certain because I haven't read all of Radnor's code but I believe all XP gains are shown in notifications. Not all tasks give XP.

How "worth it" is buying Ray's Bot Parts on Grey Market BBS?
Buying the E, D, C, and B class parts on the BBS and reselling them on the BBS is a net gain (even after the recent price change).
B class parts net you about $500/part, less (but still some) for lower class parts.
Nobody buys A, S, or F class parts on the BBS and those aren't worthwhile or possible to use for BBS resale.
*they are very worthwhile to have one A or S class set for training, especially CPU, but also the parts that take damage or give skill boosts.

** when you hit midgame and need special parts, the BBS is cheaper if you stock up a couple of the B, A and S class parts for each slot.

Buying the parts later once you unlock Raymond's shop costs a lot more (about double the BBS costs); but isn't variable what is offered.
So at a higher cost you can buy any part you want (after day 50ish, head to Raymonds in the evening with the free pass to unlock, it's a different tab than the BBS, but in the same menu to buy parts).

Parts on bots sold is worth far less than the value of the part on the BBS.
Buying the E, D class parts on the BBS, and swapping them on a bot before you sell it (and selling the C/B class parts off the bot) can make you a small amount of extra cash.
Buying parts to put on a bot to try to boost the sale value is NOT a net benefit at all (you'll lose money).

It is possible to give bots "salvage" missions to collect parts (they never collect more bots sadly; but they do get XP on salvaging I think?), and to train bots to repair parts... so you could get parts in other ways.
(I never do this, but I know it can be done)

And that's a novel... sorry. I do go on sometimes.

Addendum... for Squirrel. Any thoughts on adding a training benefit/malus to the Vocoder for Social?
I'm just always surprised that's the one part that has no real value.
I've honestly thought about modding in some changes there; but it feels cheat-y if I do it.

Thanks.
Tasks that I know will give xp:
- House keeper (Social).
- Bedroom toy sex (give Sex xp if had sex). Working at the club would probably give a lot more Sex xp (and Social xp?). Got to try it.
- Bot trainer. If successfully trained, then both trainer and trainee got xp in the subject.
- Escort to night class give huge Social xp. If I remember correctly, fighting of enemy will get Combat xp as well.
- Karaoke will also give good amount of Social xp.

Others:
- Shop keeper: generate money, but no detail on xp gain.
- Clerk: not sure will get xp if made a sell, but which clerk? So may be no XP gain.
- Tech: techies don't seem to do anything. Senior techies fix part. Master Techies fix bot (part on bot). No detail on xp gain (Electronic or Mechanics?).
- Bot manager? I have not used this task yet.
- Scavenger mission? I have not used this yet.

I just need a more reliable way to get pass A level.

Earlier I should have added this: The randomizers used can also make a situation where XP would have been gained not have any gain. As I said, don't make decisions based upon a single action. Always look for trends.

Techie bots assist your repair work making each AP spent repair more damage/defect. Clerks do not sell parts, shopkeepers do. Shopkeepers are dual role, they do both techie and clerk simultaneously. Clerks make shop operation more profitable when you work.

For bot price (selling), parts don't make any difference. Grade also doesn't make any difference other than meeting the requirement. Skills matter the most. I swap out good parts from bot that I want to sell on BBS (best price for the right customer). Sell the good parts to make extra money, or use them in my bots, or in bots for quests.

Not quite true.
If you're not at the cap on value, better parts will boost the price slightly (just not as much as the parts cost).
When I'm starting off and can't fully train my tech bots?
Or I'm starting combat sales and need a sale before I can train to A skill?
The sale value showing with my S-class "training" parts is about 8-10K more than with the C-class "sale" parts.
(of course, with 5-6 training parts all costing 10K each to buy; I'm not selling it with those to get 8K total)

And bot grade matters quite a bit, until you're price-capped. And you can hit the cap earlier and stop training.
A female C class combat bot caps out for the BBS sale at A skill and D Social. (sells at 200K at that skill regardless of parts)
A B class combat bot is already at cap at B combat skill (same 200K, less training to get to B class by a lot).
An A or S class bot I think is capped at C skill? (I rarely have them as I don't dump-dive much, and tend to save them for later)
But a C class at C skill sells for like 60-80K, and a C class at B skill sells at 140-160K.
(CMT-24 sells for the most, AGMX-9 sells for the least; there is actually a per-bot price adjustment causing most of that range)
So having a B class pickup from the dump to train saves you the B to A part of the training process.

Or the tech bot sales?
D class bot needs to be B/B Electrical/Mechanical to hit cap (75K), B/C or C/B won't get there.
C class bot can often hit cap at C/C (for the Techie bot, the lower sale value of the AGMX-9 can just miss the cap, 71K-75Kish)

Skills do matter a great deal (as high enough skills can hit every BBS price cap on any qualifying bot); that's true.
But class/parts can give you a bit extra to get there, or get a bit of extra value when you're starting.

Buying a Agp-Val or a Techiev2 at the flea market when you can only train to C/C?
The Agp-Val costs maybe 6K and sells trained for (if I recall) 45-50K.
The Techiev2 costs maybe 12K and sells trained for 75K.
