This update isn't really character focused. It's more quality changes and 2nd tier things, for example, Sam's dragon or Emily's hot tub popsicle scene. See the changelog on the last page.

No. Dev always release the game for free later, so it is unlikely you will find a early acess version here.
Public release in early march. Usually it's one month after patreon release.
