Edit: If you are playing 0.7.2 you can can use the gallery unlock or use the walkthrough although, the walkthrough hasn't been updated since I think 0.6. You can also post a screenshot of what is locked and someone can help.

Is there a usual amount of time that passes between official releases and it being released on here (two weeks, a month, etc.)? Just curious if it's more of a matter of days or weeks at this point, so I'll know whether to sit back in my seat for a bit or not

Like many I also have to be mindful of what little extra money I have. So it's more than fair that patrons get early access. In the meantime I'll just give a small drop in the bucket by including the game in my banner, recommending it, and trying to give constructive feedback when I can. Bring on the hot lesbo love!

Oh and just while I’m thinking about it: speaking of feedback and lesbo love, personally I’d love to see either some rival hate-sex (or later even some conciliatory/team-up truce-sex) between Alexa and Lexxx

I think of every Ren'Py game I've played, it's this one where the Skip feature seems to be the most vital lol. Not for the first "round", of course. But just being able to fly forward and have it automatically stop once it hits something that's new or different. I do appreciate that the gallery "intervals" provide hints and prerequisites for still locked scenes.
I never told anyone to pay for something and share it. I told people who already paid for it and are bragging about it on this priacy website to share since they have nothing to lose from sharing and nothing to gain by not sharing. And either way, they aren't paying for a game. They're donating to you so that you can develop the game faster by not having to work. I never agreed with the whole "pay my bills to get this game on time, pay me even more to get it early, otherwise you get it late" model that developers use. If people think what you create is worth directly supporting you with a subscription, they'll pay you regardless.

That is pretty hilarious. It is equivalent to writing a comic nearly identical to Superman, then saying "Superman? what's that?".
While not technically impossible, it is funny that you didn't look around for previous similar stories, especially when the VN is of such high quality and obviously has had so much meticulous work put into it.
It's a pretty common occurrence in recent years. Searching on more than one engine is considered "In depth research", while it is really just double confirmation bias.
But I digress. I don't mean to bust your chops. The game is good, but watch Weird Science (everybody alive in the 80's did, even my grandma, who would have been in her 70's and hated it). It is fun and iconic. Then, if you repeat a plot aspect, it is an artistic choice, not just accidentally repeating the obvious. Is there a name for that? When one reinvents the wheel because it is on the mentally well-trod path? Now I have to look that up...
Literally the only thing similar about Weird Science and Sex Bot is a hot Android in a box and a Prom. To be honest I don't remember if it was prom or Homecoming in Weird Science.
Other than that all the characters and the plot are completely different.
In today's day and age of sex dolls, AI and a school setting it really wouldn't be that difficult to dream up some horned up nerd making their own sex bot. I'm sure it's every socially awkward Zoomer Nerd's fantasy right now.
