I started with a bias very much against it but the summary is pretty good.
Even if you wanted to make a weird ass parody of Stardew valley city life is harder to have a progression game. The easiest way is to make the game play not very interactive. Just go to job as a single action while progressing your job experience and have the ability to expand your knowledge until you can do a better job. Pretty fun and focus on the girls and their interactions. Most of the games have turned out enjoyable for me.
Another way I haven't seen anyone do yet is to do a store simulator(store improvements and customization), a home(with customization) AND exploring the town to interact with the girls(maybe even find info or items to improve the store). I want this game.
PS I don't like the art style. I don't see any pictures of gameplay(you said pay rent, so I'm making money somehow) and no pictures of the map and/or random exploration.
