I downloaded the compressed version, and it runs ok, but at the end of the 12th story*, I get a notice that I've reached the 0.24 end of story. Can Someone please explain how that works when it's version 0.5??

The end of the story is based on the amount of memories, not by the version number of the game the dev put out.
So in other words the last Memory 24th and as such the ending is 0.24.
Does not really make sense much however this Dev was notorious for many things, common sense was not one of them.
