Does it say on patreon that a new version is out? I don't see any changes in the current version of the game listed on Patreon. I may be wrong and I hope that I am wrong, but I have a feeling that the author is just feeding subscribers with pictures and possibly promises.
Isn't it a two or three person dev team? If there's still art being made, then that strikes me as one of the larger hurdles to a future update, being semi-regularly progressed.
Here is a full save with all the gallery scenes. Each save file is named one of the scenes with dialogue because there is no scene reply.

There are posts on Patreon so I would say the game is alive but slow progress.

Wait....is it abandoned? Sorry to hear that. I hope that finally it will get finished. Is there an official announcement that this has happened?

None that I see, last post on patreon seems to be June this year and the previous months had posts too. No Idea why it's marked abandoned, not like there aren't other games that have late release schedules.
I am not sure why as well. Although understandable. It has been awhile that the dev(s) post some news/updates. However, there is no announcement by the Dev(s)...yet.

any game on this website, that have Not been updated afther a sertain amount of time will automaticaly gain the "ABANDONED" tag, it is a way to see there might not be anymore updates to wait fore if we haven't hered or any news in let's say a year, so insted of having to keep track and the mod's having to remember such, it is instead an automatic process, atlas that's what i seem to remember.

Forum rule... 18+ months without an update === abandoned tag. I'm following this game too, I like this one, but the devs are slowing down more and more, so this is technically dead unless the devs get back to serious work.

Would sadden me if this was truly abandoned. Loved the artwork, even if sometimes the combat system was a little clunky.

It's honestly unfortunate considering that the combat has a chance to be quite unique compared to so many other games. A little bit like Battle Brothers in a sense (obviously quite different, but that also works in squares with more than just one person). It's also refreshing to have a strategy-esque game and not the old cookie-cutter form that the RPGM games always use.
