So, how do we change the window size? I think that the option was bugged, I couldn't change the window size after Alt+enter/choose the window mode in option.
There isn't any option for it. Windowed mode was added mainly for people who have larger than 1080p monitors, and it sets the windowed screen size to 1920x1080. (It wouldn't be hard to make other windowed screen size options if someone wants it.)

I think that you should account that people also still use 1920x1080, maybe adding 1280x780, 1440x900 and 1600x900 would be nice?

Yeah it's a good idea, and not hard to do. I just didn't think about people wanting to play in windowed mode. Thanks for pointing it out!

This game has a lot of potential, but it will take a lot of work to get there. It isn't so much as "bad" as it is simply unfinished and unpolished.

Found Bugs:
- Under self esteem, I'm getting a -10 for "no underwear" even though Kara is wearing underwear.
- Attempting to escape the bandits on the road going south to town caused the game to backtrack to the pygmy ambush after angering the shrine spirit.
- When using healing berries, the berry sprite image kinda gets stuck with the number value after clicking on the character portrait to apply it. I also recommend that when grabbing an item stack that you select the whole stack so that players do not have to manually select the berry again and again.

Suggestions:
Your character art is great. And I cannot wait to see the pregnant sprites added. Your character pixel art leaves room to be desired. If it's no trouble, at the minimum, try to get the heads to look less like balloons by defining their chins a little more.

I think it would be helpful to add numerical details under the lore journal. One notable detail, let us know how long a ceature's impregnation lasts.

This game is clearly defined by classic RPG design. Yet I don't see any means of improving skills, attributes, or learning new features. I was able to find "Oviposition," as a world-given feature, but I've yet to really find any leveling or learned features. I hope these kinds of game features will be added.

A "miss chance" feature might make combat more dynamic.

I think you could try to condensing a few certain "mini encounters." Like working at the tavern. It's tedious after a while, and Kara has probably figured out how to do the job. A "work + skip event" option would be wonderful.

In case you weren't planning this already, I also think your game would benefit from more choice --> consequence reward/penalty. There is absolutely nothing stopping Kara from working at the inn and blowing the innkeeper every day. It's much safer and more profitable than running around the woods picking flowers.

There is also no developing dialogue. Which is to say, the events I have found so far are static, unchanging. The first encounter is the same as the 20th. And there is no difference in dialogue based on the circumstances (that I have found so far).
Two examples,
1) dealing with Lana while Kara has wormbreeder eggs - the interaction is no different if they're freshly placed or ready to hatch.
2) working at the tavern runs the exact same dialogue every single time, no matter how many times Kara works there or either teases or blows the innkeeper.
It would be better if the innkeeper's behavior towards Kara changed based on the number of interactions they've have, what those interactions entail, Kara's personality, and Kara's general reputation around town. How many times does Kara have to blow him for him to get the idea of pushing the boundaries a little further? Or does he give up because she won't stop making fun of him? And the same should be true when Kara interacts with Lana and all other NPCs.
I know that would be A LOT of work. So, I guess you don't have to, but I really do think your game would be better for it.

I admit this last one is just me being nitpicky: In the in-game "pause?" menu, a more traditional order is:

First of all thanks for taking your time to write this!

Most of the things you written about I agree with/we are thinking about, but I try talk about about some of it. I will not comment on the Animations, but I will pass on your feedback to Dezy (the artist).

About the bugs:
The first one might happen because Kara isn't wearing a bra, but I look into it (both not wearing bra, and panties gives -10 penalty).
Thanks for the other 2 I will be fixing those.

Journal is kinda on ice atm it will be update with more info but it's not high on the priority list currently.

"Leveling" or acquiring skills are something we are planning to do. We will probably go with the rout of acquiring "skill points" with a certain type for events and then allowing the player to learn/train with certain NPCs for payment/favors/etc..
Acquiring certain perversions and skills might also (perversions more or less all the time) will be free and tied to quests/events/choices.

Varied events/conversations:
The worm scene with Lana being the same with fresh/grown eggs is an oversight (the event was added before pregnancy system was implemented), we will add a different variation in the next release.

There are actually a few conversations that are different based on certain variables. After completing her quest you will get some different outcomes if you request her help with pregnancy (there is a bit different scene for eggs if you Kara has or doesn't have the perversion, and a 3rd for fully grown eggs, but the 3rd doesn't have CG for it yet). There is a very few other.

Non the less we are planning to add a lot more variations. The things you said about the innkeeper, relationships with the village/important npcs are something we already planning to do. It takes some time to do these things, and we wanted to first introduce as many planned important villagers, and plot points as we can before we can expend from there.

Combat:
We are actively avoiding adding chance based variables to combat (apart from pregnancy chance and loot). We want to make combat more dynamic with positioning based abilities (charge, free one tile movement), AoE abilities and having more characters in combat on Kara's side.

As some last words thanks again for taking your time, feedback is very helpful. Mainly doing something with the barmaid mini events, and focusing more on the progressing conversations/consequences is a great point.

I quite like the feel of this game, especially the combat which reminds me of the XCOM series. I'm glad to hear that there won't be chance based variables in combat any time soon though!

There are a few oddities that I'd like to point out:
- You can split item stacks even when Kara's inventory is full, but you end up losing some of the split item.
- In windowed mode, there's no way to see how many action points are left in combat. While it wasn't a major problem for me, I think it would be good to have a display for action points in combat.

WildFeyGames-Nis Very interesting game. Especially since the appearance of the PC and companions changes with equipped gear which is quite rare for 2D RPG nowadays. I have a few questions about the game:


How long will the game be? Is it more of a short project or will we have many areas to explore (not only forest/swamp areas or the caves who are not in the game yet) like mountain areas, maybe a desert and tropical regions or is it entirely about the forest and the spirits?


Will there be animations in the sex scenes later and maybe idle animations while talking to NPCs and the PC is displayed in the conversation? I always enjoy good drawings/models but a little movement adds a nice flavour.


Will there be love interests in the game or is whoring yourself out and a patron becoming a fan of you the closest we can hope for?


How deep will the pregnancy system go? Instant 9 month pregnancy state after a few days or a 2 to 3 steps progressions with visible belly size? I'm a sucker for that so that would be awesome. Are we going to have pregnant sex scenes?


Will there be a use for children or do they just exist in the world or disappear afterwards? Not going for incest, maybe some additional quests with them or even new gameplay elements.


Is it doable (cash/time) to add full bodies for NPCs who have sexual encounters with the PC? Floating dicks or hands are always a meh moment for me. :/

Wow, lot of questions. Well here we go!


Game length and story:
The main focus of the game is Kara and her allies' journey. Serving or fighting the spirits and some other complications on the way that's larger then Kara. (some power struggle in the world) It will focus on this region of the world so mainly forests, swamps, jungles, ruins, various caves, more fantastic/dark variants of those and some mountain region. We also want to put at least one large city in the game. (no plans for tropical islands or desert regions)
We can't really talk about the length of the game but we are aiming to do something large and free, with localized stories and a few overarching conflicts.
For now the main focus is finishing the current stage of the game (Act 1) and implementing most of the systems in game that we want.

Romance and Love interests:
Kara will be able to build relationships with characters and some will be both emotional and sexual in nature. This mainly focuses on companions (we plan to have some non-combat companions travelling with Kara), but we are also planning to have some other returning characters you can build relationships with.
We will see how it all goes. There will definitely more than adoring fans.

Pregnancy/Children:
Multi stage growing belly is on our list and probably will be done in a few months. It will be a pain to make variations for all the armor, but Dezy is okay with it.
Doing things/quests with humanoid children would be nice, but it's not something we will work on any time soon.

Floating dicks and animations:
Yes drawing full bodies takes a lot more time, maybe something for the future.
Animations (of the 2dCGs) is something Dezy want to do, but it both takes time and we have to get her a new computer first probably.

Demons and Monsters:
Monsters yes both humanoid and not. Parasites are also planned.
For "demonic" or almost humans there are "mutants" or Blessed as the locals call them, they are humanoid with some strange features. Horns, scales, strange colored skin/eyes/hair/etc. or some other features. Fey creatures are also planned.

You can get Fairy Treat from the vendor in the village (it boosts deviance for a time) or make an offering at the spirit shrine in the village (silver or lover's lie).

That sounds promising and should allow variety and the chance to create a realistic world. Nice to see you put a lot of thought into all those aspects.

Awesome, so basically we are talking about hybrids (part monster and human or perhaps even anthros) and other things. Very good, a good fantasy game lives from tapping deep into that universe.

It's not a problem, I actually like it if people ask questions, it's easier to share info about the future of the game this way. :)

I assume you can have male companions later too. We can already have a female companion while playing a female and the sassy flowergirl might be another one later. Haha, yes that would be crazy to do. It's ok tho, the ladies can smack stuff pretty good so the boys can relax and do other stuff like cooking or watching the bonfire. :p

I'm quite honest, I've yet to play the game since I just found it, but it looks very interesting. But one thing I can certainly say is :

For the love of God, DON'T. Well I mean if you want it, do it. It's your game after all. But please add a "classic"-cg option (Aka the usual progressive still-cgs) when you start implementing animations. That's nothing against you guys, animated CGs is just one of the few things where I'll jump ship faster than the roadrunner. It's always lowering the overall quality, not because the animations are poorely done or something like that. But I feel like animated cgs just don't work in games, especially RPGs, doesn't matter how well done they are.

It's always lowering the overall quality, not because the animations are poorely done or something like that. But I feel like animated cgs just don't work in games, especially RPGs, doesn't matter how well done they are.
It's not something we are planning in the near future, but we will go the draw image first animate after route. We wouldn't just swap 2d art for 2d animation. :)

So ... right at the very start there's a lady with black hair and some sort of floating spinny dust effect around her head. Are you supposed to be able to interact with her at all?

... Nevermind. Interact is 'E'. Can I suggest including a list of key controls with the game? :p

Yeah, sorry I've forgotten to include it in this release.
OK, I played through a fair chunk of it. Early impressions: The combat is needlessly long and could be made smoother.

The slow drift over to the next character to have a turn should probably be faster. You could also have a 'upcoming turns' thing at the top of the screen with icons to show whose turn is next. It would save clicks if the turn ended automatically when you have no actions left. It's also annoying that you can click 'move' and have it show the area you could move to ... when you don't have any actions left to move. Similarly you can click 'attack' or 'combat ability' and have targets show up when you can't actually do anything.

Combat generally doesn't pay, there's no xp to gain and it's quite repetitive so it should be over quickly.

The pervert shop pygmy you meet early on has stuff you can't buy without grinding a long time for herbs to sell. Maybe you meet him again later when you actually have money? It's still a bit of a tease. Nobody wants to collect 175 herbs just so they can get a sword - even if you could really use one.
