I understand the point, but it seems absurd to me. My intention with the mother is that it would result in an unpleasant character and the relationship between mc and mother was originally going to be more conflictive but it just doesn't fit mc's personality. The fact that she is a prostitute is not even made to generate morbidity or to be liked, in fact, the intention is that it results in the maximum degradation to which someone can fall.
I understand that people don't understand the character or don't like her, but as I said weeks ago, the story of shades of the past is divided in this first part where I'm giving an introduction to the characters really, and a second game that will be much bigger where routes will be included with each character where your choices will define where your relationship with them goes. But if just because mom is a prostitute is enough reason for someone to stop following the development of shades of the past and its future sequel, that's fine (?) it's their loss, I don't know.
And if someone in a fictional story is affected enough by mom being a whore or being with other men, to the point of calling me a retard, a meme making fun of their moral compass or their tastes, I think it's insufficient because of how funny the situation is. It makes you jealous that mom is with other men? okay, understandable, but based on that to judge a whole work or directly insult me? who has done so much damage to these people? xD
People lack education. maybe that's why incest is good, polyamory is bad.
