What's smoother about the current game..? Unless you're playing on a potato there shouldn't be any issues. So your only retort to my comment was basically "Well yes there was scene interaction but it was shit" I'll take it. The "bugs" in the RPGM version were either due to early version limitations but I'm guessing you'll conveniently ignore that some people with this new version are also getting bugs where they have to reload the Ren'py scripts during certain scenes.

Navigation now just sucks, it was workable before now it's horrible.

Opinions are opinions, dude. I absolutely cannot stand VNs in RPGMaker. I'll take a buggy VN in Renpy over a grindy, buggy, slow, why-would-you-even-do-this mess of a VN in RPGMaker literally anyday. To each their own, bud.

Give it a chance. You can literally see the dev trying out different things. He is very new to Ren'Py. I find it impressive he learned so fast.

I actually agree that multi-choice VN would be better than sandbox for this game, but for some games sandbox does have its merits. I think the reason sandbox was chosen is because it allows it to be a bit closer to its RPGM roots.
