Agree with you, I tried to follow the walkthrough but it is too messy.
I do not think is necessarily an engine problem, I would point the finger to the implementation of it.
LISA for example is on the same engine, but everything is more linear and smooth, here it seems we have the classic example of a developer that want to punch above his weight. Start simple, the story is fairly solid...

What I do not like of branching is the thing, you lose so much content if you do not "resolve" all the IF in the game.

Are you referring to Remigio Zampa? He retired a few years ago like Rocco... although he still makes a few films. ;)
Regarding the RPGM LISA game, the game is much more linear but at least it has a guide, a "quest log" within the game that helps you advance in the game and even there there are various paths (loyal, cheating, sharing) even if There is an unofficial Fan-made Ren'py version.

rpgm is ok
the branching is its only weak point.
The dev could keep it simple to 3 routes and thats it it would also make the routes have more content

I don't get those cliffhangers in every update of yours. There is more teasing than anything else in those updates, and of course, the cliffhanger at the end can't be missed. It´s a strange way of making a game. I was expecting something entirely different.

If you're expecting the LI to start fucking with the antagonist in the second update of a path, then you're right with your expectations, because that'll not happen, that's why you have the blackmail path, of course that path will be developed a lot faster than the cuckold and cheating path.

This game gets stuck and is unable to load after cleaning jason house , is someone else facing the same issue or is it just me. Please provide a solution
