IMO they aren't the same person, we saw them(Beatrix and Cora) at the sameplace in the very beginning of the game, except for Dana and Marissa, for me the right answear is the second, cuz if Beatrix aint lying, either Cora is putting herself, and Dana in that situation to misguide the MC, or Roberta(god bless that hot bimbo, alongside with Dana) is the one who is putting Cora in that situation to bring her assume her inner maso, but either she is a really good lier(cuz she didn't give any signs of lying) while Cora side had a lot of holes(no pum intended).

But we have the possibility that MC is so fucked up that the "they're the same person" can be true, but imo we didn't had any sign of that, imo option 2
