Game runs well, but with very few bullets and the fact that Jesse's machine is misleading, it gives no ammo , just the ability to hold more, which doesn't matter since there is very few bullets to collect. Using sword is ok but feels clunky, dying over and over again is no fun especially when you respawn the enemies you killed have respawned too. So you are constantly fighting the same enemies in the same place each time. Except now you don't get any ammo drops, so you could say it gets harder every death. I'd feel better if the machine that says it sells ammo worked and didn't just expand my ammo capacity

Thanks for playing and giving feedback, but sorry i don't understand what are you want to say with that. The "hold more" ammos are actually in your pockets (on the right side after the " / "), you will load those into your gun. I think it's same for every shooter game out there. The Glock has maximum 17 ammo, the M4 has 30, both on the left side, you can't extend them if you meant that.
About the difficulty, when i've played the game felt a little bit too easy, almost made it harder more enemies less ammo but leaved as is. The enemies you find outside are always random, so if you die, and go back again you'll see most likely different ones (there is a chance doe to be the same). Against melee maybe you can use the katana to save ammo, but to be honest i've shooted everything and never ran out. Lets say 3 enemy is guarding one ammo box, which will give you 20-25 pocket ammo. You can kill the three enemies with like 9 - 15 ammo at max (depends on enemy types and what gun you use, missing some or all hit), you're still at positive. And you can save even more if one enemy is melee. The shop is a bit expensive, but Jessie's has to make a living.

Enemies with ranged attacks are a good idea, and adult content more involved in the context of the game is also a good thing rather than just randomly scattered scenes.
But I agree that the game is pretty unbalanced at this point. Its necessary to give the player a better chance. More ammo, introduce more firepower. Adjust walking/running speed (for better dodging). Maybe slow down enemy projectiles. And in general, at the beginning of the game, give preference to enemies with melee attacks over ranged and keep the feeling of slow-paced survival action horror before it degenerates into Serious Sam or rather Painkiller.:D
Thanks the feedback Doc. I've changed many things you said here. The more firepower is the M4, the player's running is faster (forgot to write in the changelog...), added dodge against melee and ranged attacks. And the player can bring 3 medkits with him is helpful too.

This was pretty promising. Rare to see games on F95 that are this genuinely 3D with ranged combat.
Just needs more of everything.
Short term I'd say it would be nice if the pistol repeated a little faster and the rifle had a little more kick. Also headshots don't hurt enough. Also you have to be really close, like standing right over pickups to be able to get them. Oh and please let us rebind keys.

I can change these 3 you said here for the next update.
Headshot damage a bit problematic, because their whole body has one big hit detection collision, from toes to head. It is turned off when they die, so the ragdoll can be activated automatically, which are separate body parts, as you can see when you shoot like hand, toes etc. What i can TRY (i'm noob dev.) that while they're like idling and not attacking you, your first shot that hits the enemy will deal more damage. Like a surprise attack or something.
Rebind keys. Again a bit tricky, because i hardcoded everything for these keybindings. Someone said that RMB is bad for jump. I can agree, but the Space is occupied for dash. And i think most of the games out there using Space for dash. For me, using RMB to dash would be so weird. What should be the jump then if not RMB ? And what other default keybind you don't like ? I can make a swapper between two key, so the player can choose which one is more comfortable.

how do you get lockpicks in this game?
Well they're a bit hidden, but not too much. You DON'T need to search grass patches outside. They're close or inside buildings, caves, houses, sometimes you may need to use crouch to get one (because you normally can't fit in there), and most likely there is a skeleton nearby which usually shows some loot. 6 locked doors can be found, 9 lockpicks can be picked up.

RMB for jumping is super Quakerlike. I kinda like that, but I'm weird in other ways, so you know. Space for dash is also where I would prefer to have it actually, so those two keys in particular aren't problematic to me. But if you were to put jump somewhere else, while still freeing space up for dash/dodge, jump would go on shift imho. This of course isn't possible because of sprint.

My recommendation would be to have jump be on Space when pressing ↖ ↑ ↗ and dash be on space when pressing ← ↙ ↓ ↘ → except when mid air in which case it's dash no mater what direction you're pressing. So you basically can't jump backwards or to the sides anymore, but while mid air you dash as sort of a double jump. I think maybe that's how Vermintide 2 does it. I mena it doesn't have mid air dashes, but it does have dodging on the ground decided by your directional presses.

I greatly prefer to have crouch be a hold not a toggle and on ctrl, not on c. I use c for other things, don't @ me. :KEK:

Oh and don't sweat the headshots then. Thanks for replying.

Is that Jessie from "Toy Story"? Every time I see her- I'm reminded of this... :ROFLMAO: THIS will never not be funny.

I've yet to play the game. It does look interesting, but (sadly) my laptop is something of a boat anchor...so can't play it just yet, until I get an upgrade (can't ask Santa because I'm on here and [obviously] not a good boy).

That being said. Good Luck with your game, Piftee. I look forward to playing it...someday. ;) Jizzie from Toy Story.jpg

Yes, my Jessie's from Toy Story. I like that she has big head and mouth, so she can insert bigger things without problems. :) I'm having fun making stuffs with her, and overall cute too.

Hehe..Quakerlike.
But Jump on RMB feels quite unnatural. It's mostly reserved for aim, scope or alternate attack. That jumping lava part was something..RMB,Space,RMB,Space..Space..fuuuuck.

insert bigger things without problems
:p:p

Otherwise it's great. Although I liked the original linear horror version (and Vaporeon!), open-world can offer more possibilities. Especial explore freely without hand-holding.
However, so far the world feels empty and raw now.
Sniper rifle would be suitable for large spaces.
Maybe a rescue mission/unlock new characters. That big tower deserves some more interesting content.
Also, it looks like there is no fall damage.:D

Your Harley Quinn is pretty adorable too, I must say.*

Out of curiosity, why does one of your characters just happen to be randomly sitting in chair on the title page?

*At least one person out there, might, might get that dated reference. Lol

Well, on the cover picture i wanted the player sitting on a comfy couch holding a potion like he's a boss or something, and all the girls gather around him. But the couch is not visible at all (fitting in camera angle problems), and now almost all girls around him look like downwards, like the player is a midget or something. So adding a chair and making Dusty sitting down will make her and the male to be at the same eye level, telling that the player is sitting too. A bit weird yes maybe :) , but i think it's better cover then the last one.
