Seems customization doesn't work beyond chapter 1, and this has been a known problem since 2021. Surprising they never bothered fixing it.

So it only affects some people and not others? That seems like a very peculiar bug.

Update: customization seems to work again as of chapter 4. So the issue seems to only exist in chapters 2 and 3.

that's normal on any game no matter if it's renpy, unity, unreal, rpgm, etc.

We are pleased to inform you that Shale Hill Secrets - Episode 15 is now available to Gold+ patrons. And hey, we assure you that the wait was totally worth it!

You remember how episode 14 ended, right? This chapter kicks off with a tense conversation, picking up right where Episode 14 left off. So, buckle up and prepare for the revelations that await right ahead...

Also, our MC can’t be jobless forever, so, be ready to work with… Well, let’s not spoil this one! Ah, and of course, we assure you that this episode will deliver some of the best “special” scenes of this whole game!

And, last but not least, we want to apologize for the inconvenience of this episode delay. We know some of you wait eagerly for each installment and we do really hate to have this kind of delay. The next episode is already on the bake, for now we hope you enjoy this release.

Download the file below, extract the zipped file to a location of your choice and then run the Shale Hill Secrets executable. The game should open straight away after this. Do not try to run the executable without unzipping it first or you’ll get an error message! Do not mix these files with previous releases! This release contains all the episodes.
macOS
Double click Install Shale Hill Secrets.dmg. Then, in the window that opens, drag and drop the app to the Applications folder.
If the DMG file doesn't open, this means Gatekeeper could have quarantined it. It can be fixed by running this command in Terminal:
xattr -d
