Heh, for me it's the total opposite. I thought Valerie's ending was the best one. And I am not saying that just because I'm a sucker for "I can fix her" archetypes and Valerie in particular .

I share your sentiment. Her (good) epilogue was my favorite and also, for the most part, very well done imo. Probably doesn't help that I'm also pulled towards broken souls and wanting to help or see them happy.
Anyway, I really loved the ending scene at the park at night, it was beautiful, hopeful and felt genuine. Not every ending has to be filled with rainbows, roses and laughter. I'm glad I waited for her ending, I can now move on from Shale Hill.

I can't honestly be the only one here that feels that a few of the epilogues lacked closure, right? Sam's, Lydia's, and Maggie's, sure. Even Dante's, I'll agree with. But, both of Valerie's, Emily's and Leah's? I'm probably asking for too much on the Good Valerie ending and Leah's ending, but the Emily ending I feel like could have had a little bit more.

Download the latest version from Itch. We just fixed that bug (your saves are fine, it is an UI bug now showing them).

I've updated my compressed post to v0.18.9, you would only need to update if you are being plagued by the disappearing save bugs.

Haven't grabbed, change log useless, but might have a new bonus scene - the numbering would suggest that.

I've compared the 2 files 'ch18_strings.json' from these 2 versions and there are no differences. I think only exe file is upgraded maybe to manage bugs.

it's shs.exe which gets blocked by av or defender.
