I will say, is that this is the first NTR game I've played where there's a happy end AFTER the dude gets cucked. Typically, the only way to achieve a happy end in an NTR game is to avoid sex entirely or make a choice that prevents you from getting cucked in the first place. Whatever they get from MTL, from the translator's (if you can call them that) point of view, is "correct". They can't touch up because they don't know WHAT to touch up. Sure, they can clean up some of the poor sentence structure, but language goes beyond words. there's a lot of context that is lost because MTL doesn't account for a language's intricacies. Someone using MTL would probably never figure out that the heroines name isn't "Colored Leaves" It's "Akiha Iroha" (I think). The Japanese Kanji for her name must've been swapped out for whatever English-equivalent words were in the English dictionary.

I mean naturally it comes down to just how fucked the MTL is, sometimes they're not egregiously bad and it is playable in the sense that you have to piece it together, in that scenario I would say it is possible to proof read and make it readable at best.
And of course it won't be completely accurate and carry over all the intricacies, but it's an amended MTL, no-one expects it to be flawless.
It's just a damn sight better than straight up copy pasting from google translate.

I've seen half decent MTL's that have had amendments by people who do not speak Japanese, it's not a prerequisite just to make the sentences even remotely readable.
To clarify, by proof-read I mean specifically to correct the sentence structure, not to ensure it was translated correctly because clearly that isn't something they're capable of.
Otherwise, as you said, they would have forgone MTL.

The game is linear aside from the final choice. Just skip till you get to the end before the final choice, save there, then make both choices

I don't have a problem with whatever happens between consenting adults... but lying to intentionally keep someone in the dark, I do have something against. In a way the other guys even tried to tell MC that she's cheating on him, but he'll hapilly watch that phone recorded video of that girl that looks exactly like his gf getting banged by 3 dudes that look exactly look like his 3 roommates, in a house that looks exactly like his, and think nothing of it. story is the same shit so not that interesting. I mean, I would rather see a "fan-made" rewrite instead of a translation, where its more interesting and the MC is not just a fool. I could rip the pics, even add it to one of my "future" projects using my own VN-player. but since its censored in a "bad way" I feel its a waste.
