You can actually toggle the stat box with the T key.Nice art. Interesting idea.
My opinion of some stuff though:
1)Stats/info bar covers too much space ( cuts top-head of characters, cant see slimes bangs even). A toggle button with those stats or even button witch opens a new modal for it to show stats and other stuff in future would be much better than now as it is annoying to stare all the time and cover quite large part of art.
2)Those flashing conversation selections is quite annoying and in long term starts to hurts eyes. Better change or remove them.
3)The back menu item from tavern to map could be not in top-right, but bottom-left (as it was the first place to look for back, though it's my UI experience). Also could be a bit different colored from background(or somehow else made to look apart) as it is blending with background too much and hard to see at first look, though get used to it later but still. (well again for me, can't talk about others).
4) Some hint system for slime core system would be nice(as what will happen if maybe you do that or that). Maybe more options on what to do with it too? As maybe I wanted tokind of thing.
