There is hardly a harem game made these day that doesn't have lesbian shit. (So in essence they are Poly's instead of Harems but there is no tag to properly denote that at this time)
A great many of us are really disgusted with Lesbian being shoe-horned into harems so we want to know if it is optional.
Some developers have realized that they are losing a large demographic by forcing the lesbian fetish so they make it optional.
I am not a mind reader so I ask the developer so that we can know.
If you had done your research on the harem demographic then you would know this.

And your point being? Just because you can avoid it doesn't mean people would prefer that option. It is quite simple really Bill's transformation was introduced and people were able to vote on the outcome, the popular vote was to turn Billie fully into a woman. That was what people wanted.
Yeah they could have and still can choose to opt out of that quest, but they got a chance to turn it to the direction they wanted to go and they did. You may not like it, but that is the will of the people. Not everything goes the way one would wish. The most recent poll have people vote on the characteristics of a new side character and again people are favoring slim with big breasts. This may not be what the dev would have chosen, but hey he gave the people a chance to let their voices be heard.

The "harem demographic" as you put it, likes a lot of women for one guy (or the reverse). At no point in time does that exclude them playing with each other - they are not mutually exclusive.
If your "group" (?) as you put it doesn't like it, that's fine. The amount of girl-on-girl play in the game really isn't that much from what I remember, at least not compared to other games.
Finally, your harem in this game consists of girls you've tamed. You can do that different ways: girlfriends (who still exhibit lots of free will, but you are their main), slaves who do your every bidding at every command, and drones who you mindwiped and who don't even respond, but still let you do whatever you want to them.
From that perspective, it's VERY easy to avoid any girl-on-girl. Make your entire harem either slaves or drones, and you never have to worry about them again.
Threesomes (as a side point) aren't a lesbian activity if the girls don't engage with each other. But the extent of that engagement is up to the creator. I would think you'd be able to avoid the threesome scenes if you want, with the exception of your mom/sister since that's required to bring them into the harem fully. Again though, I don't recall if they engage each other.
All in all, it sounds like you can avoid whatever you want to. I'd suggest instead of going to war with the forum members, you yourself actually play the game start-to-finish and see for yourself.

I don't remember a there being much lesbian content, if there is, it's very new and I haven't discovered it, or it's a very optional repeatable content you unlock after some point. The one lesbian-esque character I remember gets mind controlled into being straight, funny enough. I haven't played this game in a while though, someone should correct me to make sure.

I have no issue with trans women... given the option, I'd prefer they don't have a dick. I'm not sexually attracted to penises, so if I like the woman and sexy times are a possibility in game, while I'll squint and bear it if she's not fully transitioned, I'm much more in to it if she's fully transitioned. But I'm also not a "dickgirl" fetishist, I like trans characters in games because they exist in real life, and I like a variety of characters with different stories/struggles/backgrounds/etc... I don't like trans characters in video games because I have a desire to see a penis on a feminine body.
