WHERE THE SAVE FILE PUT TO? I OUT IT TO GAME FOLDER, BUT CANT LOAD THE SAVE
Save files don't go directly into the game folder, they go in a folder called "saves" which is inside the folder called "game".

The appdata folder is a backup folder, it duplicates whatever is in the game/saves folder so you retain the files even if you delete the game itself.

(Also, you need to be on the right page of your saves when trying to load, so that save file posted above will be in position 5 on page 9.)

There is a conflict between having a sandbox game where the player is free to explore story threads in any order, and having an interconnected story where characters from one thread can appear in others, with three basic solutions:
- having crossover characters be static, so it doesn't matter where in their native story thread they are when they appear in another thread
- having more-or-less arbitrary progression blocks in individual story threads so that a crossover character is at the right stage in their development when they appear
- throwing time and money at the problem by including multiple variations of crossover scenes to support every possible stage the crossover character could be at

Of course, it's also possible to use combined or hybrid approaches - for example having three versions of a scene but progression gating it if the crossover character is too far behind (and progression gating the character's native thread to keep them from getting too far ahead) - and someday there might be a fourth option: setting up the rules to let the computer create appropriate versions of scenes that reflect character progress.

Each of the solutions has its own problems:
- static characters mean you're limited in what sort of stories crossover characters can have since they're not allowed to experience relevant character growth
- progression blocks both force the player to play blocking threads up to a certain point whether they want to or not, and are hard to make seem natural within the game
- throwing resources at it balloons the amount of work required for the same amount of play-time, and possibilities tend to grow exponentially, making it impossible to keep up as the number of independently ordered events grows.

Yeah, there’s no way around it, you just can’t be completely free. That’s why the way it is right now works fine, lots of progression locks forcing you to do one thing first if you want to move forward with another character. But your 4th solution really got me thinking.

I can imagine a point where AI is so advanced and integrated into games that it could literally recode the game in real time, readapting everything to the player’s choices. That would even eliminate problems like static characters sitting around the house, because every line, every bit of dialogue from them would be unique and variable depending on when you interact. Even sex scenes, blowjobs, whatever, all of it would have unique lines and unique variations for each player. That would be the peak of this kind of game.

Yeah, this is sort of the hoped-for goal when people talk about having AI run games as essentially your own private Dungeon Master. Using preexisting assets, code, and narrative, but being able to adapt on the fly to whatever choices you make, so you can literally make ANY choice. Every time someone complains that you can't say "X" in any given dialogue (ie, "I wanted to tell her to go fuck herself, but the game didn't give me the option!"), in theory an AI could go "Okay, so you say that, and this is how they react."

The problem is, AI is nowhere near that good right now. And likely won't be for a very long time (if ever). So people trying to force AI into games are mostly going to wind up with a garbled mess at best. It can be an effective tool if used properly, but right now it can only do some things, not everything.

That's the biggest problem with AI in general at the moment. Not "Oh my god some artists might lose their jobs", but "Tech companies who have no real idea what they fuck they're doing are investing billions and ramming AI into literally everything they can, no matter how poorly suited or pointless it is, so everything winds up being way shittier than it was a few years ago."

No and she likely never will be a full harem member on par with the others. Look up the discussion in the thread if you are curious about it.
Understood.

Still... my "pipe-dream wish" is that at some point, she could somehow be extricated from the MC's mind and into permanent corporeal form, ideally with some kind of special "MC-dom / Ava-sub" mind link with the MC, so that the MC can still tap into her powers. In this scenario, she would have a unique "Luna+" subdued mind category where she is fully aware of her controlled status (like Luna), but is a subservient-but-virtually-equal partner to the MC, maybe as a willingly-accepted alternative to being eliminated from existence altogether when she is extricated from the MC's mind.

I get that there would be some enormous logistical hurdles to this, if it is even possible at all; but, if it were possible... well, a guy can wish, right?

that patch dont work. ugh. we all know what roommate and landlady are code for!
It does, you need to start a new game and then it will show you the option to choose what relationship you want, there are like 4 for each of them.

It would be nice to be able to buy the nursery. It would be nice if we could fuck the old woman. And have women take care of our babies who play. One woman for 3 babies like the regulations. I think it could be fun.

hardrive is just a paperweight and cant find anything in the user folder
are you play on a windos pc, yes?
open explorer and wirte "%APPDATA%" (without the quotation marks) in the adress bar, then search "renpy" and then the shattered mind folder.
but you don't need to search the save manually, the game will check at the start.
