Is Zoe needed for the best results for a good ending?

I admit my reasons for playing this are flimsy at best. I loved the first game and the world it was building and this is supposedly in the same universe so if any more games come out in the future i'd like to have completed the set.

Mind control is not my thing but I do like some of the girls and some of what he's done has improved their lives.

That being said, I find the whole bimbo look super gross. As a woman that thought she finds all forms of femininity attractive it came as quite a surprise when I played a game ages ago about bimbofication and was incredibly grossed out. I've never been into the whole plastic surgery look some women go for, not a fan at all of fake boobs but never been that turned off. The look just weirds me out.

If I can avoid Zoe and not end up having major characters die horribly like the first game when I screwed up with one of the women that would be great.

It's quite sad though. She looked great at the start and knowing she's going to get utterly ruined is just, well, sad.

I don't mind Zoe's changes - she's much happier with them (due to mind control of course). But what I DO mind is that once they are fully controlled and "in the harem", they basically revert to dolls to play with. Someone else mentioned it here before, but there's virtually no meaningful interaction with the girls once they're absorbed into the harem. No story arc continuation with them, nothing except sex and/or babies.

If I could change one thing about the game (aside from side-LIs not getting more screen time), it would be continuing story arcs with the LIs. How they change visually to me is much less important.

Hmm, I don’t know if I should’ve set high expectations for this update. It wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for. First point: facing Ava. I liked the choice of her creating a fake reality for him, but couldn’t she have made him forget his memories too? She’s already done that before. That way he’d never discover it was fake in the first place. And the MC not figuring out the obvious, that it was Ava and everything was fake from the start, felt kind of dumb on his part. Still, it’s forgivable since they needed to build tension and all that.


Now, about how things were handled with Ava… I didn’t really like the conclusion. Basically, she just went back to being an annoying little voice in his head. I had imagined two possible outcomes: the first, she’d submit and become a slave like the others, but smarter and willing to help; the second, through emotions. Ava seemed to feel a certain impact when the MC mentioned her being alone for so long. That could’ve been developed into some kind of understanding, a genuine connection between them, kind of like Naruto and Kurama for those who know the reference. I don’t know if future updates will focus more on her, but if this was her final conclusion, for me it felt pretty half-baked.


As for the new house system, it was fine, but I don’t know about you guys… the only feeling I get in that house, even with so many women there, is… nothing. That’s despite having 20 or so new scenes. None of them gave me any real feeling. I don’t think it’s the dev’s fault, more like a psychological point of view. Winning them over feels like battling to earn a million dollars. But exploring the house with them as servants already feels like just recounting the same million dollars you already know you have. I don’t want to sound nitpicky, but that was my honest impression, I don’t know about you all.

yes, you are. in drone mode they are mindless doll without any dialogue. gf/servant dialogue change a bit.

I would say the worst thing about the game is that once you corrupt the girls, they are no longer characters but decorations. They are not even good for masturbation since they lose personality. They do not speak, they do not interact, you cannot do anything with them. This causes the game to depend on the introduction of new girls with each update. It is a shame that there was no corruption process for Melisa. I do not think the Dev will fix this problem since this problem is a defect of the corruption genre mindcontrol.

The best part of this genre is the middle part, for example, level 6/10, as it's a level where the girls dress like perverts and are more open with you and are sex lovers, but they're not your slave or your property. But when they become your property, you lose interest in them.


The dev should focus on making updates for the main girls and give them development, give them more stories, to see how they interact now... but I know he will keep adding more girls that only serve as a momentary jerk for that one update, then they will be forgotten because in the next update there will be another new girl.

I think this can be remedied to a point if you can see their interactions with MC as he proceeds through life. I think a good touch was the scene where you go the ski resort and are planning on subduing with the mom and sis on the coach. Would atleast help it not be as mundane.

I always felt that Ava's questline was the meant to be the conclusion to Act 1 considering the OSA threat seems to be bigger. Being able to change Ava's personality as a reward for completing the quest would've been feasible considering mainline quests involving the others have simple checks for which personality the girl has (servant or GF), and locks progression if said character is in an incompatible state with the story.

Pardon my french but i think for some of us the pull to this game was the mom and sis, and then developer goes around doing 20 other characters, and no update on the sis and mom since like 8 updates ago...

What could save the story, but its such a big change that it would require massive amounts of writing, is that he suddenly loses the powers, but all the changes he's made remain in effect.
Most of the girls would be pretty horrified by what's happened. It would be a swerve into a very dark story, but honestly this thing is already super dark.
Being someone's slave is not an improvement to your life at all.

Or alternatively, he loses the powers and the changes he's made, but the girls remember what happened. A few of the girls would want it to continue, like the one desperate for approval, and the one who asked to be mind controlled, but most wouldn't, at least not initially. Swerving into an actual corruption game would feel a lot better in the long term, in my opinion.

Yeah the event before the ski lodge was one of the best so far. It's very subjective, but all the admittedly good content added recently isn't as good as that was.

To me, the possibilities I mentioned are way more interesting than just forgetting her like she’s some annoying fly buzzing around in his head. Seriously, when she weakened after the MC told her he understood her, when she finally gave in, I thought ‘man, this would be the perfect moment for the two of them to actually understand each other.’ Ava is part of his mind, in a way they’re one and the same. Imagine how awesome it would be for the MC to fully grasp her pain and, instead of destroying her or locking her away again, decide he wants her by his side because together they’re stronger—or whatever other reason. I’m not a writer hahaha, but the way it was done felt to me like ‘let’s just come up with an excuse to swat this annoying fly

Damn man, congrats on that comment, you nailed exactly the frustration of having them like that in your house. Like I said in my previous comment, I don’t even know if it’s the dev’s fault or just the mind control genre in general, but for me the peak of this game was the total subjugation scene with the mom and sister together, up until that point the game was fantastic. But now? Any scene with the two of them has what weight? None, since they’ve basically lost their personalities… And I also agree that focusing on the characters already introduced would be way better than just endlessly adding more girls. It’s such a shame.

I noticed that girlfriend and slave are *very* similar. In GF mindset, they use your name more often than not. In Slave mindset, they almost always use your chosen title (Master, God, etc). Once they're in the harem of course, there is no story continuation (with a few exceptions), so choosing one or the other GF/Slave isn't that big a deal. Mindwiped (drone) is however.

As I mentioned before, story arc continuation with the LIs would be a very welcome thing, as opposed to them just being "dolls to play with". To that end, I'd specify that only Girlfriend status keeps their story arc going, Slave and/or Drone pauses it. Just my .02 if the dev ever decided to implement story arc continuations.

Dev Update 19/2025: Content of V0.22


Hey everyone!

As usual, right after the release of the last update I want to give you a quick taste of where Shattered Minds is heading in V0.22.

As decided by the community poll, V0.22 focuses on Claire, the nosy daughter of the police chief. You will experience three quests with her, and at the end you can add her to your harem. You will also be able to move her in with you at home, new scenes included.

New Quests
Cursory Investigation (Claire– Quest 1)
A brief text message calls you to Spring Hill Police Department. There you meet Claire again. From that point on you sense eyes on you wherever you go, and the shadow that trails you feels like the first clue that something larger is in motion...

Cat and Mouse (Claire– Quest 2)
Armed with what you know about Claire’s motives, you decide to turn the tables. You slip deeper into her life until you are part of it, as you begin to undermine and manipulate the close bond between her and her father.

Case Closed (Claire– Quest 3)
The confrontation between Claire and the MC comes to a head. The MC was too sure of himself and underestimated how sharp a budding detective Claire really is. His overconfidence proves costly.
New harem member: Claire
Claire will become a regular member of your harem, with new scenes available at your home and at the police station. She can become pregnant and she can move into your house, which unlocks two additional scenes.

New Side Character: Violet

Violet is a new side character you can encounter in the gym locker room. She becomes available once you own the gym. She takes to the new gym rules with enthusiasm and chooses to stay naked whenever possible. Her confidence draws you in and you see an opening... there's just one problem, her boyfriend is also there. But that's no challenge you can't handle.
Violet features fully animated scenes, and once she is fully corrupted you unlock another unique gameplay bonus.

Timeframe for release
V0.22 is planned to launch here as a beta at the beginning to mid November. I will share exact dates later as usual.

You can't disagree because it isn't an opinion, you simply don't understand. It being a sandbox DOES change the decision about Ava's future, no matter what you may wish for or want. The fact is that one can reach this point in the story in a myriad of ways, since it is mostly locked by the number of subdued LI and only a few specifically required ones. This creates a huge problem, since Ava is present in many of the LI's stories and each had to have the dialogue changed to match her new personality. Some of them would have to change rather drastically, since she is often rather antagonistic and rude in her actions and words. It requires a lot of work for little payout, especially because it could be solved by doing it the way it is done.

Not at all the same. The simple checks, just switch what they call you, but otherwise they are supportive of you, Ava isn't. Her personality would be completely different and would require a lot of rewrite for something many wouldn't see.
