VN - Ren'Py - Shattered [v0.21] [Yeda Games]

The premise of this game is really good. You don't see many adult VN games where the main character is a sissy and where you can choose straight or gay routes.

But unfortunately, the concept is the only interesting thing about this game.

I really wanted to like it, but the MC's incessant and unnecessary ramblings between dialogues add nothing and will just get even more annoying the longer you play.

The character models mostly look good, but the option for the sissy MC to get dommed by a man is severely lacking, and none of the male characters are interesting enough to follow.

After playing for a couple hours, I got so bored of the slow pace and useless internal dialogues and just skipped forward to see the sex scenes. While doing that, not only did I realize that there were so few sex scenes and they all consist of only a handful of renders, but the story gets so convoluted and confusing that I'm glad I didn't bother spending more time with it especially after seeing how insanely long the walkthrough is at 300+ pages.

I couldn't even finish skipping to the end because this is almost a 3 year old game and the story just keeps getting more and more confusing and unnecessarily long.

TLDR: Save yourself 16 gbs because this game is so not worth it. If the concept is what made you want to try it in the first place, you'll be left disappointed. My only hope is that someone else takes this idea and executes in a much better and more interesting way,

the dick of the protagonist is too small. ofc you can tell "after a bunch of hormones usually trances have such dicks" but damn it. it looks either as bad graphics or not healthy for the main hero at all. yes, I believe taking dicks in ass can't hurt health, but too much hormones..
and this tiny dick looks pathetic. it's exact reason I believe you'll waste time playing it. please fix it. pleaase

A sissyfication game which is surprisingly well written and has an interesting story. This game has several brilliant and interesting characters I also love the dystopian setting, the sex scenes are well crafted and the renders are brilliant. Shattered also has a wide variety of kinks that will satisfy most people, overall it is a complete gem of a game which I'm glad I discovered.

I've always had something for feminine traps and this is definitely the best game I've found with this tag! Great artwork and love the choices you can make and how that affects the MC. Hopefully it will keep being developed!

One of the Best Feminisation Games on this Site, Hands Down!

Shattered is all about Feminisation, BDSM, power dynamitics and all other types of fetishes and kinks. If you are not about this kind of stuff and are NOT into Fembois, Crossdressers, transgendered folks, and some general M/M. This game is not for you. The creator says certain content is avoidible but in pratices its felt like you can't bypass certain scenes so you have to take this game for everything it has to offer. However, if you have been looking for a deep, thought out feminisation game with strong character development, great renders, and lots and lots of content, I can't recommend this game enough.

Now more specific reviews:

STORY: 4.5/5

The story is what has me coming back again and again. This will be a spoiler free review but it's an excellent story with lots of twist and turns. The protagonist is well thought out and while this starts more as a force fem story, the growth of the protagonist into the position they are in feels mostly natural with lots of inner conflict. It does help that the external events of the game help frame some of the conflict. This isn't "Oh no, person "X" put me in panties, guess I'm a girl now". Time is spent exploring becoming this type of person. Everything said above about feminisation can also be applied to BDSM and various kinks too. The game presents a lot of kinks and explores them well, but I do have a small issue that being submissive can feel like purposely choosing a bad direction for the character.

Another small issue is the writer, creates a lot of characters introduces them, has maybe a one of sex scene with them and then they get added to the ever growing cast of secondary character that frankly is too huge. Maybe on replay I'll see more of these secondary character but frankly at this time I feel like certain scene are padding or throw away scene meant as fan service or something.

Graphics: 4.5/5

First off, as a feminisation/trans game these are some of the best renders ever. Most Ren-py renders for trans/fem char tend to look kinda bad with bad looking dicks just stuck onto female models. The creator knows both the female/male body and makes solid renders of their character. I also like the slow changes to the protagonist and they do a good job of switching up outfits for everyone, even when it makes no sense in the plot. However, some of the old models don't look the best and again with the rotating list of individuals coming in and out of this story certain character just don't get the same amount of attention as other character.

Gameplay: 3/5

It's a Ren'py visual novel, what more do you want? Wall of dialog, make choice, wall of dialog, make a choice. Repeat til endgame. No puzzle, as far as I've seen or any other game play. Game play is 100% basic Ren'py VN. I am interested to see how much choices matter in a replay.

Sound/Music: Yes

Sorry, on games like this, basic sound effects and music don't really matter to me much.

Get this game, if your into theses types of kinks! This is a slower moving game but it does have a lot of sexy content and I really get a strong narrative feel from the author even if I don't like everything they have to say. I wish I could rate it 5/5 but game play is completely basic with nothing interesting going on.

But then again, you play these games for good story, sexy content, and great renders and this game has all three.

The gane is quite long due to the abundance of dialogue and Blake's thoights, but every second spent is worth it.

Have not finished the game to current content but do like it a lot.

Almost everything about it is great, with most emphasis on the fantastic writing. It's the most novel-like VN I've read on this site yet. Almost every other writer feels like garbage compared to this one. There are some minor mistakes which call for more proofreading though that's not very important.

The art is pretty good too, there's not enough variation in expressions and sprites and insufficient CGs but definitely serviceable for now.

Now for the reason I took a star. The game is too varied in terms of kinks and characters. Most games are quite focused on a demographic they appeal to, this one is not. It has stuff for everyone, which is a way to say most stuff is not for me. Most of the time you're here you're trying to skip past talking to people you're not into or trying to avoid scenes.

I would prefer if the writer target a more narrow audience next game they work on, and if they want more, work on multiple games aimed at different demos.

Though I guess this is not a problem for people who are extremely sexually liberated and pansexual.

Final problem is the UI and lack of achievement tracking. Tracking is absolutely necessary in games with a lot of routes and this one doesn't have it. Hopefully it'll be added in the future.

The game is pretty fucking good, start with nothing and become something is a concept i really like in these types of games. Got turned into a boy toy and now your job is to make it in a corrupted and morally bankrupt city. Would reccomend for the story and the artstyle alone.

This game is a bit of a mixed bag. If you’re expecting something packed with action, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. This game is slow - very, very slow, and very, very long. I’d say almost bloated and that’s probably at least partially true. And this was a big problem for me in the beginning; now I’m somewhat over it, since I can’t seem to be able to tear myself away. I’m used to playing games that are nothing but text and never have I felt so tired/annoyed playing them as I used to with this game. But when you do finally get a juicy scene every now and then, oh is it so worth it. I’m guessing the frequency of sexy times is somewhat dependent on which path you go down, since some of them only really present themselves after like... 10 hours of playing? No, seriously. I’m probably 20 hours deep now. On a single path.

There seems to be six primary characters with probably a dozen secondary characters, so the cast is pretty big. To add to that, it’s literally impossible to be going down multiple paths (at least as far as primary characters go) at once, so if there’s more than one primary character that tickles your fancy, you’ll be here for a long, long time (and, well, seems like some secondary characters will only have fun with you - in some specific ways - if you’re not going after any of the primary characters, so go figure).

To make things worse, there’s probably more branches in this game than in a whole ass forest and seemingly minute choices can have great consequences, not to mention that there’s no UI to track your stats and a lot of choices/opportunities are only available when you pass an invisible stat check or make a very specific chain of choices. So a walkthrough is almost a necessity, unless you get lucky. I wouldn’t mind a scene map, either. But I know that’s probably not trivial to make (not sure how scenes and linking them works in Ren’Py).

Another big pain point for me is the English. I've seen worse, yes, and it's nowhere near bad enough to call it broken, but I swear there's a typo or a grammatical error on every other slide, sometimes multiple per slide. I get it - I really do, I'm a writer myself - with a project this size, something like this is bound to happen. But this physically hurts me to read sometimes. But it looks like it gets better in the later stages, so at least there’s that.

Now, as far as the actual writing/setting goes, it’s captivating and if you can bear with the pacing, you’re in for a good time; albeit a long one. The characters you meet are interesting and since this game is so wordy, they at least have some depth to them, which is nice. As for the characters you can date, I can only really speak for one right now, but I’m assuming there are some vastly different themes with each of them, so there should be something for everyone.

Very interesting game, I’m gay so let’s say that this game has very little gay apart from two scenes that throughout the story we say they are lost. there are wrong tags like "Male Protagonist" we say that beyond this the story is also very nice, not suitable for a gay audience I think but very nice, sometimes too many dialogues, sometimes few sex scenes, let’s say that reading the story when you get to the hottest part and then you would like to see more and live it more runs out in a few images and a few descriptions and then it becomes a very stylish thing... "next next also this is done", the basic idea is nice even if the more you go on and the more things you lose. I’m afraid that to give so much and too quickly you lost a little rhythm all very hectic in moments of tension and intrigue and so many too many paranoia and many words where you could shorten much more.

This is a great game with various decisions and different story paths.
I watched the developement since the first release here on f95zone and can confirm, this game developed well.
It won't be enough to play it one time to see all the content. The game is developing steadily and since I saw it at the first release, I have to praise the developer for the effort he took till the recent update. The game has a lot of story elements and is not just porn with a bit of text, so it is more a slow burn than a quick fap. I enjoy this approach of the game being a more story-focussed visual novel.

Excellent, not for everyone though. Highly fascinating journey down into the rabbit hole of a disintegrating city and society. Follow Blake, he is changing, just how, how willing is really not always up to you.

This is without a doubt very much a quality game. The models are hot and the scenes are beautiful. It delivers on all of the tags (although to me the femdom and sissification seem sort of 'light' or gentle).
Furthermore I am of the opinion that the game is almost too long, or maybe the story isnt interesting enough to justify the game continuing seemingly forever.
To me it works better when early on in a game there´s a choice to pick between a couple different characters with various fetish themes tied to them, thus locking yourself on their route, instead of all of the stories of the characters intertwining.
Exploring the game in its entirety and finding all the hot scenes with your specific fetish would take an eternity.
I feel like the game/story should've ended a long time ago, and then the developer could've experimented with other characters and kinks in separate games, new titles, because the characters arent bad or boring at all, there´s just so much endless clicking through stuff that doesnt matter.

Sissifcation and Femdom with M/M being avoidable, all while being good quality, VERY rare and appreciated. Slow changing of MC's attitudes and over a longer period of time (some meh time skips too) lends itself more to realism than many others too which helps with immersion. Both choices of being dommed by hot women or just have sissy/female relationship too, depending on your preferences

Pretty interesting game, cool characters that grow and evolve, some interesting commentary on different real life topics never offering just a singular point of view. At the beginning i thought it would be just another cool little sissyification game, but towards the end of the first part and into the second part the game really just evolved into something else. I wish there could be a little more freedom in choices rather than the typical visual novel a or b, but i get how with how much is in the game how that could get a bit messy. Game is definitely more than just the porn .

I have to say this is the best written porn game I've ever played. Characters have depth and nuance. The dialogue is snapping, interesting, and pretty damn funny. The plot itself is pretty original and different, and the writer isn't afraid to completely shake up the status quo. I seriously could spend an hour just gushing about how good this game is and how much I loved playing it

I'm gonna start out by saying this is not a game for everyone. The protagonist is transgender. That being said it's the best trans protagonist game I have ever played. The writing is plentiful, and well done. The choice are numerous and consequential. You can play it more towards into men, or more towards into women, and there are various love interests. Good production quality too. Keep up the good work.

Content in general is great, renders are beautiful. The changes are nicely paced and there's enough content for all possible tastes. Author allows the player to choose which content to pursue and it is generally clear how to avoid unwanted content.

It is not just a fap game, it has high quality writing with high quality porn in it.

Worth highest recommendation in my book.

Extremely in-depth, though a little confusing. Excellent branching, which allows multiple playthroughs or for those who don't want certain situations the means to circumvent content. In my opinion a very good erotic game, especially for this genre.
