The older I get, the more I can relate to the MC "Life just hasn't gone the way he expected." Oddly enough, I think that and the art were the reasons I gave this a try.
Downloaded, played, deleted. Sandbox was really just cleaning up before some guests arrived. Its a linear VN. +1
Art is pretty good +3
Writing is sub par. For as much dialog presented, the characters were hollow for me. Relationships were superficial and stereotypical. -2
I like the subject matter +2
I was not a fan of the dream beginning or the ending teaser. Feels like they don't fit and are click-bate to bring in and grab the attention of the pervs but don't do anything more than superficially tease. -3
Feels wholesome familial slice of life that will be a slow burn tease-fest. -3?
I read that the Dev has the story already written so that is interesting to me and may yet offer some surprises where I may have to revise my first impression. +1?
I look forward to the Dev proving me wrong, I would like to feel connected to these characters and have a deep impact on the story. Is the MC led by the female into a nearly normal relationship? Will the MC lead the relationship and either bend or break the the moral compass of his ward? Is there a long term plan or goal or are all the characters just existing for instant gratification, blowing where the wind takes them?
If you have superficial characters with a slow burn slice of life, that usually means boring characters will have boring relationships.
Within the spirit of the game, I could see the ward being unusually agreeable to the MC. The MC picks up on this and decides to build a better situation for her, or sees how much he can push her to his "dream". Still, if the dream is the end goal, that's still an un interesting outcome.
