Can't figure out what to do. Got into the basement tunnel of the cedar village, but can't jump over the fence. And can't damage the first boss from the mines.

This game needs a quest tracker.

Christ, there's games with unfair combat, and then there's this. No way to recover from status effects beyond letting the timer run out, damageable equipment, one and only one party member versus several enemies and so on.
