Chinese genshin weebs everywhere these days.
As far as I know, Mihoyo privately sponsors R18 creators and instructs them to do more Genshin-related works, and almost all artists who have done Genshin-related works receive a lot of sponsorship from the same user. Careful Chinese netizens found out that he was from the location of Mihoyo Company by looking up the user's information...

I think, that's not the case, in usual r34 industry and any other industry there's a supply and demand, what people would to see and how much people will pay to see, pretty much if you changed to genshin and can gain 70% more they will do it, they love money after all. And some most popular creators usually using like ranking chart from online and pools to make to do so.
Also genshin is originally from china so have better widespread across asia and global players

But in fact, they investigated his social media account through the email address used by this user and the artist, and his email suffix is "qq.com" This is the email suffix used by Chinese ins, through this you can check his social media account and find that this user is an employee of Mihayou, this matter is a well-known event in the Chinese Genshin Circle, and everyone was ridiculing Mihoyo's operation at the time of this incident. The user also immediately deleted his social media account at the time of the incident, and I guess he was probably fired by Mihoyo, after all, the confidentiality measures are so poor.:ROFLMAO:

Hear me out, even if this is all true, this doesn't automatically confirms that mihoyo has direct influence/sponsorship with the r18 creators. This can only be seen as there's someone works in mihoyo that was subscribed to the artist/creator on either his/her personal interest or other demands. I would personally lean towards the 'high demands' theory (people play the game, having fantasy, wants the fantasy to come true which gets them to search for it and blah blah blah). Since r18 3D animations or just R18 in general are not the best way to 'advertise'(if they are willing to sponsoring them, the reason is obviously for growth in user population). I do see how they invested in creating a massive fandom which produce game-related contents which have a higher likelihood of actually being seen and attract players, but r18 side, not so much. But after all, they are all just assumptions with no real evidence we can really get in depth with.

Quite "Fact" you say here, let's say it's one of 1.2 billion active qq mails, or someone interpersonating it, also, most porn also well versed in china, knowing this email suffix used by chinese doesn't mean he's mihoyo employee, or just chinese person who just too horny, knowing no further incident means it just someone impersonating, i also have account on weibo, weiqq, and baidu, even i know, such thing isn't true. It just a usual cycle "High demands" it's one who also skyrocketing genshin porn in social media and twitters.

r34 industry is an industry with patrons and creators, you need to follow the "high demand" and popularity percentage, it's a basic marketing knowledge, that you need something viral to create content with it

I agree with you, maybe that user is really an employee of mihoyo, but he may only sponsor and collect r18 works about mihoyo out of personal interest, if I were an employee of mihoyo, I would also privately sponsor those mihoyo r18 creators.;)

Yeah ain't saying employee of mihoyo, it just random chinese person who everyone said "Employee from mihoyo" and if you were an employee of mihoyo on shanghai main branch, you would dealing with Chinese Regulation first, CCP is quite strict about that especially internet porn :p

Goodluck for impersonating mihoyo employee

Did this guy die? Seriously, he hasn't posted in a long time
No idea what happened to them but they've been radio silent since December 12th. Nothing on Fanbox, Patreon or Twitter whatsoever. I don't believe they have a discord either. Seems a little odd to suddenly go quiet for 3 months.

It could be anyone's guess as his inactivity goes on

He prob got caught
He prob got busy in life
He prob dipped to take a break or something, assuming he's the type to not inform anyone in advance

iirc, he had a Discord link in a platform and in one of his videos, forgot which it is, but definitely pre-Genshin for sure since it was as Stukove

Going AWOL while still taking people's money is unethical. So many content creators pull this shit. Hopefully nothing bad happened to them. My favorite artist for a long time was Lasterk. Last we heard from him he was struggling with a chronic illness. That was 2019.

facts, creators should pause their patreons if they're going to go AWOL. Feel bad for the people that subscribed in the hopes that their favorite creator will return and they end up wasting money for months

Patreon should have a no activity update after so long cancel all subscriptions automatically.. that way if the person died or just went AWOL they are not getting money for nothing!

Easy for them to do no updates on Patreon Page for 2 months than declare it canceled and cancel all accounts.

They must make so much fucking money off of it though. A lot of it is people who just forgot about it.

maybe Shirakami waited until 1000 subscribers on his patreon and he is lazy to update because there are no more additions
