Thank you for figuring this out! Now I can get back to grinding casino coins undisturbed. Completely unrelated fun fact, apparently the casino introduction event is saved globally as well. So if you don't save, you dont get the event again, and void the 500 starting coins.Thanks for understanding my pain and sorry for yours. And after further testing it seems to be an issue with the translation patch. You can see in my two screens on the exact same save and version, but one is translated using the patch the patched one doesn't have the jamming, I'll post it on ulmf or the translator's discord and whetever he fixes it is up to him.

How did you get a translation? ive been using Mtool and its driving me nuts how bad the translations are

The translation is litteraly linked in the main post of this thread and linked several times in the thread , keep in mind some part of chapter 2 is not yet translated

I looked through the thread and everyone says after completing chapter 1 you just need to sleep until you see the dream but I've slept over 30 days in a row now and there's no progress at all. The new patch is here, and so I have arrived!
Many people have been asking for links to an already patched version of the game, the reason I haven't provided it in the past is I kept running into issues where it would just break once I re-downloaded it to test and sometimes just unpacking it seemed to break it, not sure if I was doing something wrong, or something changed, but it SEEMS to be totally fine now, so:

This new patch, according to the translators, translates all content currently in the game.
If you find something untranslated I highly recommend bringing it up either in the ULMF thread dedicated to the translation, or their discord server, which can be found in said thread.

So, I'm using a mostly 100% save file, and I'm following the tips and tricks guide for the dolls, I think I've met all the requirements, but not sure as it's not my save file technically and I'm just trying to unlock all scenes (I have to play through shrift 1 1st) I'm guessing I'm missing some requirement/s somewhere.
I got anubus and the teddy bear one (morna I think?, probably close but off). This save file is just before the lovers fight. It's one that was linked in this thread. Worse comes to worse I can just wait and do it myself after beating shrift 1, hopefully by then chapter 3 will be out and it will be done.

If I understand well, you are before the fight with LOVERS and have difficulty unlocking the dolls content, if you could unlock both anubis and mormo, then the doll content is probably after the LOVERS fight since I think the only requirements is advancing the story enough ( if I misunderstood your message then sorry and correct me ). Or you are looking for a 100% file but I am sorry I am not the one who will provide it.
I have to say you are right, I should put some timestamps or something in the wiki for the quests, but I need to redo all the game for that, so I'll do it when chapter 2 is complete and translated ( one day maybe

I'm just trying to unlock all the content, yes was hoping for a 100% (not mostly like this save file is (and by mostly I mean 100% up to this point not counting chapter 3, we'll cross that bridge when it comes lol). But no I wasn't expecting one, it'd be nice to have one, but that's a big undertaking lol.
I appreciate it man, it's my fault because I'm using someone else's save file, like I said I'll get through shrift 1 and by the time I get around to completing that fully (not sure if I'm even going to bother with genocide), this game will most likely be complete, I've got plenty to do before then. I'm just not sure 100% how to unlock dolls and apparently clown again as it says on the guide.
And yep, I had a feeling it might be tied to beating the lovers fight, I think this save file is before that, I'm not sure if it's a repeatable thing since it's probably the last thing you do in chapter 2, but I'm pretty sure it's right before it, so I'll have to beat it and then I'm sure that's what it is. I couldn't find the priests in spider ruin village, I'm sure it's the same thing. having to beat that boss.
