You're going for TM? If you have done a run before with assists it'll be significantly easier thanks to NG+. But I guess if you're using that method it doesn't matter.

Edit: The way I see it its probably meant to go: Normal Run with assists -> Get a neutral end -> NG+ -> Get Mercy/TM -> Get TM
1st run in general, I was gonna go for true mercy, then normal, then possibly genocide, but I don't know if I'm up for making myself suffer through that.

You'll save yourself a LOT of suffering by going through normal first, since thats the intended route.

Alright, I already started doing some of the true mercy stuff by saving certain monsters/sparing them.
General rule of thumb is let go when you can on your first run, you're not expected to make all the other choices perfectly. If you get a lot of corruption, use an assist, it costs 0 assist points and completely clears a demon's corruption, infinitely reusable.

Use those to make mistakes and learn, then your second run automatically gets made easier thanks to your previous choices.

Ignore the warnings about endings being affected by assists, the first run can get ANY ending.

I appreciate it man, whenever I've lost because of my own incompetence or cheap bs (like that iron maiden thing where I was expected to magically know there's an option that's not super obvious, but is there (empty bar on the ui for the combat). I've just been doing that save scumming technique I mentioned. The only thing I need to do is go back and farm barghest for the affection points at some point, along with doing all the others at some point as well, thank god for that go back to w/e chapter option.

I do agree some things aren't too obvious, but thats why the assists exist. The game just scares people off with the whole ending change warning. But again, don't be afraid to lose or make mistakes or fuck up, you can always use assists. And the bonds you make will help you out in the long run.

After perhaps a few hours and my internet crying from my activity, I have finished uploading version 8.06. Game is pre-patched and already has DLC installed. If the game isn't translated then run the patch exe included inside the game directory.

I do this for the sake of it and making it easier on others, the amount of website hunting and link generators I go through to get these games aren't fun, all I ask is you don't report these links, otherwise I'll just quit doing this stuff. Doesn't mean I won't stop helping anyone out with finding games however.

Pre-patched with DLC;
Mega

I added the untouched version as well for anybody who would want it.

Version 8.06;
Mega
Edit: You can find these files in OP now, the unpatched version seems to be labeled under DLC however.
Stay safe and have a good day/night!

Till next time.
Hi there, I downloaded the patched version of the file but when I try to extract it I keep getting an "Cannot extract due to unexpected error" message, I'm wondering if this is a problem anyone else is having or if it's just me.

Sorry for not answering in time and sorry for the unclear question. What I really try to ask is: do I need to download both the win and the dlc because the win one is ver. 8.07 and the dlc is ver. 8.06?

I already downloaded the Win one, but I don't know if it already includes the DLC, and I found some mod.zip inside it, so how do I install the mod? I know I need to input code to access DLC, but I am not that deep into the game yet.

So please guide me. Thank you.

Well, an easy way to check would be to go to the dlc part on the front page, download that which would lead you to opening it, which would show you that the contents are this:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

I downloaded the main game via the win (windows) download link, these are in the main game's zip file under graphics> pictures:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

So now you see if they match up with the dlc files. I just checked and those specific files do match up with the same exact contents. I checked the system for both and the mist file matches up, but the only one that doesn't match is this file in the dlc
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

If you don't want to go down that path, you can find a full save file on here, go to where you enter the dlc codes, and see if they completely work and don't break, another way is if you want to be safe, you can just copy all the contents from the dlc folder stuff into the game's folders and replace them.

You don't need to install the mod, there's already the debug mod in the game, but the text is in japanese, semi easy to figure out though, don't recommend if you don't want to cheat the game, I think it was mainly there to make the game easier, and make an easier way to clear the debuff/consequences of losing stuff.

Well, I finally beat the game on the normal ending, I have to go back and beat it again, because I have to collect all the different scenes I didn't get, hoping I can get all those loss scenes without having to replay the whole game over again (minus my current public data file, aka ng+, since it's doing stuff automatically and I'm able to miss stuff unfortunately), now to play through the true mercy and eventually the ex worlds.

Is there a pre patched version of the game anywhere, I cant actually patch it myself because I usually play using emulators and it doesnt really work when I do that.

Alrighty I'm now on the EXes Today I cleared ex 1 (god I hate those stealth, don't make noise + follow pixel perfect path segment/mechanics), EX 2, and now I'm on EX3.

So just a quick question, I have a backup save with my public data as well, like I do everytime. Is the cheshire breaking the 4th wall thing about not getting that loss scene permanently a bluff? I have a backup save to get it, as I said just incase.

Edit: So yes, unfortunately beat ex3, and I have to do it again, because that loss scene is not a bluff and is missable, probably sphinx as well. (thank god I back up saves)

If anyone has a full list of missable loss scenes (so I can get them without missing them) that would be nice, I know you can get lots of them through the bronze boxes to refight them, and memotoes.

Looks like I was late to the party, but you can get Cheshire and all Missable EX Loss Scenes automatically after clearing EX 4.
