A big thing they're going for is that when the game's completed, the player will only have a certain number of days before it's game over. And there will be 12 nations with their storylines that will eat up that time. Plus getting to know the girls and replenishing your forces after each battle will take time. In other words, the player will not be able to get every girl in the game anyway.

As a matter of fact, there will the possibility to skip every nation but a few in a straight path for the main enemy nation (Arax).

They wanted the game to be replayable, instead of being able to get all the game's content in a single playthrough.

That's a very bad idea. I never was happy with the timer in Space Paws but that game never had the amount of content this game has and no large battles. It would be better if we can only have a few days each for the camp scenes before the game moves on automatically so the player is forced to focus on one or two girls. That way there's still some sort of time limit but nothing that leads to a game over due to bad time management with a big lose of progress.

That doesn't make sense both from a strategic point and how Nulkan thinks. If you leave other countries alone who have enemy troops they will flank the living shit out of you and stop you dead in your tracks because you will run out of supplies and have to fight at several frontlines at the same time.

Nulkan wants to free all countries, not performing a speedrun. This would be very bad writing.

They can achieve that with the idea I had in the first quoting plus having mild story paths who differ based on decisions the player makes. Or optional dungeons who can only be entered if you helped a certain person in each country and so on.

Yeah, I thought much the same. But they did mention that a path from say Nocverchis -> Dir-Klou -> Siann -> Arax would be possible. And would be the easy path. Although of course, this would leave 4 other executors at Nulkan's back when he attacks Arax. Yeah, not exactly a smart move. At the very least, there should be some special event or consequence to the player for leaving enemies at their backs.

And I think they're sticking with the feature in which the player can choose which nations they move on to next. Which makes such a scenario possible.

And there will be different zones of nations that cannot be backtracked to once the player leaves them. For example, Nocverchis and Eldrien form Zone 1. Once the player moves on to Fernia, they will be in Zone 2. And they cannot go back to Zone 1. This is because of Izuin's aging. Much easier to program when she's aging so fast.

Less troops or a penalty for mana recovery could work.

That's totally fine. As long as the borders are very close I would like to decide which one I want to attack next. I will quickly learn if that was a bad choice with my current knowledge and pick the other one or try to power through it. Dark Souls 1 Firelink Shrine in a nutshell. Leave it to the player what he thinks might work. X3

That's also ok. Points of no return aren't bad as long as I can't dare to make one step and suddenly the land behind me explodes and only void remains. X3

Another way, perhaps the player should not be able to move on to the next zone until the executors in the zone are dealt with. For example, the player cannot move on to zone 2 until they deal with the executor in Eldrien. And where the option to move on would instead lead to a cut scene where Nulkan says "No, we cannot move on yet. We still have Pyrus and the Seventh Legion at our backs."

They definitely have not. Again, they wanted the time limit so the player could not just romance every single girl in the game. As a matter of fact, the payer will probably only be able to romance a few by the time the game is done. And, it does kind of make sense in a plot sense. Izuin is supposed to only take a few months to grow to an adult. And the Executors are searching for O'vanthan.

If O'vanthan is a woman we will bang her into submission and then we can explore freely. Case solved, shame to unnecessary time limits. :D

The time limit makes sense, but doing so in a manner that only a few girls can romanced is not. Probably they will find another way(s), to solve the replayability. There are plenty of time / content to make until the finished product, many things can happen until then.

For everyone who was interested in the third scene.
This is a blowjob with Dyane.
To get it, you need to go to Nadine on the first day in the camp and see that she is caressing herself. Talk to her and with a strong-willed effort refuse to help and go to yourself. There will be a conversation with Dyane and she will help you fix the situation in your pants, which arose after you spied on Nadine. (Hey, man! She's a loyal soldier and wanted to help you! So why are you refusing?!)
I don't get it...

I'm wondering about the bug where it repeats the Tregor battle over when it should be doing the first Yalen battle. It seems like the only fix is to just start a new game and skip Yalen, right?

If that's the case, can someone explain what I missed in Yalen? Is Dynae actually thousands of years old and just de-ages every few years, or does she also lose her memory? Also why is everyone okay with just being in my harem now? Sure its a game but did it come up at all?

Really I would love to just get to play Yalen. Normally I would just dig through the game files but I'm not too familiar with Ren'py yet.

The game is broken, if you get in a fight the prologue fight just repeats where you chase down tregor or whatever his name is. I tried starting a new game and skipping yalen and the first fight I get into once you beat the second wave the third wave triggers where its like "look at him run"

Weird, I was able to play Yalen fine in the android version...

I think that's all the Yalen content. I might be remembering some of it wrong, but it should be close. Hopefully that answered your questions?

Yep, I got the same bug. Reloading the entire fight did the trick. I think it may be because I kept using the skip key in the fights cuz i’ve already seen them from the previous update.

Ah, that makes more sense. Shoot, now I've missed all those scenes. Oh, and I'm guessing he got the teleportation thingy from Yalen?

I totally forgot about that, but yes: Dynae gives it to him after she's become the Oracle. Basically so she can avoid NTR content.
