in the episode 1 there are choices in the other ones there arent... it's just a kinetic novel with women that you may or no want to have sexy scenes with...

I played this game a couple of years ago but stopped when the reworks began and chose to hold off until they were finished before playing again. I have now played it and just have to say...WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THAT ENDING?!
First of all, majorly stupid of the MC to not use the fact that Jake is riled up to control him and make him either forget what he saw or at least be OK with it. Sure, the dev didn't have him do that for drama purposes to set up that shock ending, but really, feels like they kinda just neglected the game's own logic for that because Jake was so angry he should have fallen under the MC's power easily, especially since Emma said it could be easier for it to happen with the new pills.
Then, you go ahead and give Jake enough pills that he may have this power forever and leave the MC in a situation where it seems almost impossible for him to get out of because there's surely no way he'll be able to get control of Charlie or even make him snap ouot of it and make him stop. And on top of all that, a vengeful Jake gets to leave with all the pills and likely wants to fuck all the girls close to the MC to get back at him, setting up what would be a very uncomfortable scenario for many people. I don't believe the dev will include any of the dreaded NTR, but ending it there with that possibility certainly doesn't leave you with a good feeling, so "mission accomplished", I guess.
Maybe it could be as TheGreySun said and Jake trying to use the powers won't have any effect because them being so close with the MC and likely having been affected by his power has created a strong attachment to him that will make them immune to anything Jake tries. That, or because Jake swallowed so many pills it will mess with his stomach and cause him to vomit and pass out before he can do anything and the effect of the pills will be gone. Or perhaps Violet shows up just as Jake is leaving and manages to stop him.
Violet showing up may also be the only way the MC gets out of this, as far as I can see. Because if she sees Charlie pummelling the MC she'll surely try to make him stop but he won't, because she wants the MC alive, so maybe she'll be forced to shoot him to stop him.
In any case, as much as I love this game for its hot ladies, Ep 9 certainly doesn't leave you feeling good, and to be honest, I kinda don't like it when games like this, which seem generally very carefree and easy for like 99% of the time, try to inject some dark drama for what just seems like the sake of it. Like they feel as though the game somehow needs an injection of dangerous and tense drama to make it better even though it's been perfectly fine just being a kind of easygoing romance game. Almost feels like it's a bit of a rug pull when you do it so far into a game without really much indication it was going this way and somewhat ruins the overall feel and experience of the game up to that point, imo.

This update doesn't move the story forward from the version 5E does it? I loaded my last save from version 5 and there was no new content so I went back and played the whole thing again but still, no new content. what am I missing?

This has been repeated 100 TIMES already and I WILL REPEAT it again. This is a remake, remake from 1 episode to 6 episodes. that's it, now there will be a new update soon, because the developer will now be focused on the full game.

I like this game, but can anyone tell me the purpose of the love route, because it sure feels like the dev does not care about it. Just look at the ep.5 remake, love route you get two animations of boob touching, corruption gets like 15 animations of a long night fucking, not including the other sexual scenes earlier, that love route gets nothing. On love route you can't get threesome with sister, can in corruption, can't get anal but you can in the corruption, you get considerably less content. I want to like the romance route, it is my preferred route, but when it gets so much less stuff in every category compared to the corruption route, it feels like the dev doesn't care for the romance route and only made this game for the corruption aspect but threw scraps at the love route just so he can say he has multiple routes. It is just disappointing the romance route feels like a afterthought in this game.

Slower sure, but slowe pace doesn't mean doing nothing like the dev does so often it feels like, the dev can still give it some more attention, not a couple animations compared to like 30 overall for corruption, the only thing love route has is maybe more solo sarah, but corruption gets everything else, like thressomes, anal, probably a lot more kinks, I wish the dev balanced the routes more
