Wow I see it's not for you. I also see you gave Dreams of Desire only 3 stars and somewhat of a bad review, it's in the most popular game section so it looks like I'm in good company.
I also noticed you haven't posted a game of your own to show all of developers how it is suppose to be done. As this is my first project maybe I could have learned something from your game as it would have been better than DoD????

Dreams of Desire started off really good, but the later half totally changed from being story driven, to being porn driven, which was very disappointing... And I always strive to be as honest and detailed as I can when reviewing any book, game, erotic visual novel, etc. as I can... I can see why it is popular, at first it appeals to people looking for a deep and entertaining story, but then it switches gears to appeal the folks who could care less about story and just want to get their jollies off a bunch of sex scenes... As a whole, that doesn't make for a well balanced and entertaining product... It's almost like two different VN/Games smashed together into one... I also tend to see that most folks who comment in these forums are the ones who just want to see porn type scenes, and the people who are looking for a good well balanced erotic visual novel/game just don't speak up as much, which might be why it changed so drastically, i dunno...
Take a review for what it is, someone else's opinion and/or point of view based on their experience... Who cares if it's popular or not popular, that doesn't really matter to me when I give a review of my experience... It's just feedback, which is what these forums are for...
The reason I gave DOD 3 stars instead of 1, was because it was supposed to be an Erotic Visual Novel (a fictitious prose narrative of book length, typically representing character and action with some degree of realism, following an erotic theme with visuals to support the story), and it started off like that, and I really enjoyed it up to the point that it changed... It went from story driven to nothing but a bunch of sex scenes with little to no story progression or growth, which was disappointing... So because I really enjoyed the first half I gave it a 3 overall instead of a 1, for becoming just another porn game in the 2nd half...
I'm a reader/player, not an author or developer... I know it has to be super tough and time consuming to put these sorts of things together... And I applaud artists for putting their work out there for others to see and experience... But like any art or product, feedback from the audience has to be expected... Good and/or bad... It not only helps other people see a different perspective, but it also may actually help, an artist, to see different points of view, and see how others experienced their product... The artists/authors may even take away something that helps them grow artistically and do even better next time...
Nothing in these forums sais that only other devs/authors should give feedback or conduct reviews...

I bet the dev is happy he didn't receive a 1 star being the 4th ranking game on this site.
Your comments don't help using statements like grammar errors then not point out where they were so they could be fixed. Also your other comments were vague and not helpful as well. I read your other reviews and they are contradictory, you either complain about having to grind or wait to see sexual scenes or complain because they happen too fast. You never read my change log to find out this game is less than 6 weeks into development and I had trouble figuring out the camera setup as I didn't know you had to use a second camera to set the rendering camera up and messed up some renders that I've been replacing and still have more to replace. You just come in and with run off at the mouth and it's not constructive criticism or helpful in anyway to me or other readers.

I can see that you are angry because I didn't give it a very good review... I can't help that you feel that way... But that happens, you really should get used to getting bad reviews with the good, otherwise you'll stress yourself out too much...
As to the change logs, I do not read other reviews, or view change logs, or go to other sites to research a game/VN before I try it out... I prefer experiencing these things in their raw released form, without tainting or spoiling the experience before hand... And based on my experience playing/reading the game/VN I then give a review of some of that experience, bad and/or good...
And again, it doesn't matter how popular some game/VN is on this one website... Just because it gets a lot of thread posts, or gets downloaded a lot doesn't automatically make it great and fun and entertaining... It's the actual experience that really truly matters... The only way to actually get a realistic idea of just how popular anything really is, is to go out and force poll every player to see just how many stars they would really rate it overall... Popularity can be both good and bad, it's a neutral word...
Reviews are always based on the opinion/s of the person who's doing the reviews, based on their own personal experiences, not the experiences of others...
And I've never complained about having to wait for sexual scenes in a review, not sure where got that from... And when I mention that sex scenes are being presented to often, in a Visual Novel, it's usually because they are harming the flow of the story and detracting from the plot rather then supporting it... Erotic Visual Novels and Porn Games are not the same thing...
I'm sure that as time progresses your work will improve to your satisfaction, and will be everything you are hoping to achieve, and I do wish you the best of luck...

Tried your game I feel like this is Female Protagonist. If it is so I wonder why I have to name the brother not the sister lol. And about the story, well how to say it's actually simple, confused and I don't feel tempted at all. I'm not sure but I doubt in the end the brother will bang every chick on the boat. Even a game in demo or earlier progress it needs well render if not then good looking characters, finally an attractive opening story.

I've gotten some feedback from this website and is why I've posted my project here. Things I'm trying are new and some have not worked out and I've had to make some changes. First I had the sprites way too big and it wasn't working so I changed them then the no makeup sprites where I was trying to show a transition of the sister wasn't working and I changed those, a lot of the early renders were and some still are bad and needs to be replaced as well as early animations with too much extra movements, it was my first time making them. You can buy animations for genesis 3 but not genesis 8. I can take constructive criticism like I said but you have nothing to offer.

No many games have sections like this, it's a mini-game while your sister is in school. Have you ever had your sister mess you up on a relationship with a girl by her actions? The same could happen here. Depending on her choices could effect your future pathways. If playing the FC bothers you then have your wife, girlfriend or sister play the mini-game for you.

If they don't improve and create something that caters to more than themselves, they won't gain any growth in this industry. I take productive, helpful creative criticism very well just read through past post to see. I had huge sprites that weren't working and I changed, no makeup sprites that didn't work as planned that I changed, renders that were bad that I'm still replacing, animation with too much moving that I'm replacing, etc... It's the meaningless, trolling statements that I don't take well. Like I stole the sounds or used other peoples works and even after a kind reply on where they came from I still see topics pop up about me not creating them. It's meaningless and trolling as many developers use freesound.org and credit them the same way I do with the same logo even the top ranking games that could afford to hire their own voice actresses.
The trollers seem to come from the same group of people trolling other incest gaming forums, it seems their genre of games is almost extinct and they've resorted to trolling tactics on the most popular genre.

I finally gave in, 6 weeks of development and only 2 patrons, $10, must be something so I'll try although I don't understand why guys care about the build, they say nothing about skinny, short boy looking characters. The MC is not much bigger than I was during my military tour and girls were all over me. I guess guys didn't like that very much either anyway...

Oh, hey! That's much better in my opinion. And the thing was a matter of proportion. He looked bigger than Ahnold back in the middle of his muscle man career. This guy looks plausibly fit now. Don't be discouraged by the patrons! Some games can take months to take off, at least with 3d stuff your overhead for art assets is less than it could be. Keep it a passion project and you won't be frustrated if it isn't a big money maker.

It doesn't quite fit his character's character on his TV Show. Did I say that right? lol Mountain... er... Volcano is huge but they've been through about 7 different guys and I haven't seen them all so at least one of them could have been rather normal size. I worried that my MC was too short but no one was complaining about that. At least now he'll be easier to pose. It was difficult with his size for sure.
