no, the next update is being worked on but Niichan (dev) has two projects and My Bully is My Lover (his other vn) is more popular so updates are 3:1, MBML being worked on more. Neither will be finished really soon but they are both still great.is this game completed?

Because you want both of them done but one is much more popular.... why work on another project, while prioritizing one of them significantly ...
And both, while they can be played separately, are heavily related to one anotherBecause you want both of them done but one is much more popular.
As in, cast shows up?And both, while they can be played separately, are heavily related to one another
Yes, they are set in the same fictional universe, Sicae is set 2 years before MBML.As in, cast shows up?
Because this one plays perfectly fine without knowledge of other one, which I am more than grateful for.
yeah even after the last update of MBIML I still think this is the better gameJust finished 5th episode, and I'm kinda shocked it's less popular than MBIML
So the wait for the next episode starts...
Right?yeah even after the last update of MBIML I still think this is the better game
There's that and you actually Remastered the game from ground up. You could've done the thing many devs do and forced yourself to continue "LCC" even if you had a better vision for the story and thus the game.Right?
I think it's just that most people prefer something more light-hearted than mature and serious.
It is a shame the game doesn't get the recognition it deserves for now but (even if I liked LCC) I believe the new story is both great and unique so I can safely assume that, just like me, plenty of people get easily immersed in it.
The more updates this game gets, the more people it will attract. Add to that the fact that many people playing MBIML will be interested in the "Prequel" and you have yourself a nice NiiChaverse audience.
+Compared to many other projects the "Prequel" is just as high quality as the "Sequel" so people that like this style or played MBIML will be able to get into the game without much trouble
Comparing it with MBIML, where you can simply chill and play, without focusing too much on the plot (it's straightforward and if you think too much about it, you can quickly find some holes), Sicae keeps you on edge and pulls you into the story. And while "NiiChanverse" is a nice idea (seeing returning cast from the "previous" game is always a nice touch and wordlbuilding can be done much better when it's done from a few angles), I gotta say that I got a little bit disappointed that MBIML contained heavy spoilers for Sicae. When both games are finished it'll be great to play one after another, but since they are developed simultaneously (with haevy favor towards MBIML), it's rather natural to play them both during developement. I don't mind it when it come to worldbuilding (when we learn something "global" in one game which most likely gives us an answer to the mystery in the other game), but seeing some things directly connected to Sicae characters, like Claire alive and "reedemed", and MC with and eyepatch, takes away some of the enjoyment of discovering the plot as it's written and presented in new Sicae chapters. And given that the fastpaced plot is IMO one of Sicae's main strenghts, it is a serious blow.Right?

I dont see it problematic at all, the thing about the mc is whatever and claire was foreseeable anyway.but seeing some things directly connected to Sicae characters, like Claire alive and "reedemed", and MC with and eyepatch, takes away some of the enjoyment of discovering the plot as it's written and presented in new Sicae chapters.
