What exactly is MTL? I never heard of it and what Google comes up with doesn't make sense in the context.
MTL stands for machine translated.
Games that are translated via machine translation (aka MTL) are notorious for being very hard to read because the computer is very bad at translating meaning from one language to the other. This results in sentences that have a very disorted meaning and can appear poetic by how original they are when compared to the text they are based on.
