now i am working in the basic brothel system, your idea is interesting for last stage of Alice corruption.

since last pool was decided, the brothel will be unlocked via quest, and I still no have idea how will be this quest. XD

I am thinking some like gather atleas 40 reputation, and 5000$. what do you think?

I mean, that last stage for her corruption makes sense xD.

And yeah, to unlock it, more like:

-Win a fight against the thugs (3 thugs) that took the abandoned place
-if win: easy, take the place
-if lose: thugs gonna tell alice to give them a blowjob, but right before that, some police sirens sounds close (kinda like the kidnapping event) so you unlock the brothel
-optional: pay them all your $ and then they go away

Doesnt needs to be too complicated to get or make this (so, you save time aswel), since its the main part of the game.

And also, this way because its supposed to be a heritage

Why is progress so slow? SimBro never seemed like that hard a game to make.
hehe remember, it is a project made for fun,
I had put the game on hiatus before because it had become almost an obligation / work
and like you guys, i am playing too other games ,and following other projects :).

On the complexity, that this is a flash game and in 2d it does not have to be simple, remember that the original took more than 1 years with constant updates before starting the hiatus and then being abandoned.

However, it is true that it is taking too long, I hope to advance much more in the coming months

Why is there only one dude trying to recreate it ? Where are all the genius that can do this easy and fast ?
Lots of people have moved on from flash games and look for games with more plot. Also, the market got alternatives to it which are 1) still supported and 2) arguably more developed [Including notably: Porn Empire and Strumpets]. Simbro also garnered a reputation as an unsalvageable mess in the later versions as the multiple devs team just pilled up features without really addressing the bugs, making it harder and harder to fix them with each layer of code being added. This meant for OP that they had to remake the game from the ground up, which is no easy endeavor.

In addition, OP (and probably other people that considered it before) ran into the issue of assets which are no longer publically available (from my understanding that is) and need to recreate every single one of them and, by extension, to remake all the animation as well. To make things worse, Flash (the original engine) is dead so they need to port it to a new engine as well.

On the more speculative side of things, as I am a lone dev myself, maybe OP wants to keep control of things as divergences in the dev team can also lead to the game dying (I think that's what happened to the wonderful Breeding Season game) and since they want to make it as a passion project/hobby, they probably don't want to feel forced by the rest of the team.

Finally for your "where are the genius?", they are probably making the game they want to make instead of returning to simbro. As much as it is a classic, the "industry" moved on from the "LoK graphics era" to Daz (for more advanced devs) and Twine games (for "newcomers/non-pros" like me) CYOAs and VNs, so it's less attractive.

dont worrie guys, if this project dont have more devs working on it, is because here is not much people really know work with the framework that i am making the game (libgdx) and like LordOfChangeGames says too, i dont want feel forced to keep the speed of others. (since i have too a full time job it can become a stressfull thing hehe).

about comments like this seems easy work, It is not something that bothers me, on the contrary I like to know how those of you who follow this development feel that I am progressing.

Got a question I know you might be having struggles making some mechanics works, and you select to do so as Simbro as far I know with Java. haven't you think about other options like Godot or Unity to make work easier?

Can I play this on android or is there an apk version
No idea if actual Jar can run on android, but in a far future i have planned provide a apk version

So possibly dumb question but is the story going to be the same in this? I really liked the pursuit of Alice, easily the most fun thing about the game.
my intention is try to keep the same history.

Unity use C language (i am unexperienced whit that), and Godot is not atractive for me at the moment (and this seens dont have the same implementation for my animation engine).
i am very happy with actual framework since it is all about tip code (i have fun using this way xd)
