how do you upgrade your character with the cheats

anyone know how to get the download to work? So I've tried to get the folder of Mega a few times, but it always has an error about unexpected end of file; I have looked through this thread and the only things I found useful (something about a .swf which I can't find) and someone else had this question but it never got answered

Just download 2.7a from me by click on this link > SimBro Cheats and SimBro Customize and SimBro Walkthrough and then scrolling down to where it says SimBro 2.7a Mega Download and then click on that link then click on Download "I just checked my link and it's working"

Did you want SimBro 2.7b instead? "I checked the Mega link on the front page and it's working"
All i have is the modded 2.7b by tcast so if you want that one then let me know by replying to this post.

I would try clearing your browsers cache and removing the Mega cookies and try to download again.

What he means is that the last updates only got worse because of bugs, some wrote the most stable version was either 2.4 or 2.5.

Any known workaround for the New Year's Event? Alice will ask you to pick someone to play Lady Santa, but the game will [try to] pick the MC regardless of the character you select. If MC is male you're stuck here because of gender conflict. If it's female, game gets stuck in the next question, when you're supposed to pick a male to play Grinch.

Wow there are people who still play this. It's a known bug, you have to play earlier versions, no idea what version broke that event tho

So I found 1 of my old posts with a bunch of info so I readded all of that info above.
I've went though my walkthough and have fixed some basic errors, when i get a chance I'll go back through properly and fix more errors and add any missing info.

What updates are you looking for?

If it's about the game there won't be any unless some sort of miracle happens and The SimBro Team starts working on the game again.

If it's about my Walkthrough not much more needs to be done other than going back through and fixing errors and adding info for 1 or 2 events, i haven't been playing SimBro so haven't gotten around to that yet.

Let me know what updates your looking for and if it's about the walkthrough i'll see if i can work on it in the next few days.

You know like most people I got bored and went back to this game. Besides all the hate, its still a bit of fun.

Yes, Just place the new .exe where you had the old one and you should be able to just continue. Not sure about on a mac or android but that's how i do it on PC with this game.

PRESS WINDOWS+R IN KEYBOARD (IN WINDOWS PC)
RUN OPENS AND TYPE C:\Users\name of user\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\DH9LWUM2\localhost
there will be simbro folder old and new version
just copy old file in new version simbro file

Does anybody have the .swf version? the exe won't run properly on wine.
