After the last update, the game won't open or do anything. I have Windows 8.1.

Q: What to do if the game can't start?
A: If the game can't start, try to delete persistent file:
Open search and type/(copy-paste): %AppData% (press Enter)
It will open folder : C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\
go to RenPy\SimpleDays-1596073118
and delete the file: persistent

My game still supporting Windows 7+ and 32 bits

2 inside the renply folder .. 1 inside the save folder of the game folder

well some games do have extra sync folder inside appdata/renpy saves, just waste of space. this one doesnt
