So basically its like I said, you made characters based on real life portraits, but the problem is the translation like typical doesn't come thru right, which gives off a uncanny valley vibe to the characters, see I look at the real life pictures you posted and they don't give off that vibe, all those women look good, which mean what translation so to speak from real life to 3d render didn't translate well.Thank you for your contribution here. But I think the major problem is:
A few very successful VNs are still extremely influencing the perspective of most consumers.
This is something which very few people consider if they are reviewing or commenting something.
In addition, a lot of developers also have a lot of influence from them. That is why specific shapes, faces and figures of most characters are similar, kind of reused/recycled. Only a few details seem to be changed. From my point of view, that's fine. If that's what the audience wants. Because the audience here pays extreme attention to proven aspects. While the audience in the porn industry for example clearly values extremity and variety more.
Most of people expect to see a character like these, just a few examples of assets I picked from the internet.

Characters that are similar to the ones in other popular VNs. And some guys are way more aggressive, they act like auditors, as if there was an ISO devs need to follow from the international organization of standards. And everything which not fits in those standards gets massive shitstorm... It´s like everybody have to draw a perfect circle, if you will not, then you are different and bad.
Some guys even tell me to make characters similar to other VNs and say "then it would be great... then you will be successful"... Well... thanks!But I´m not gonna do that, because I´m not one of the others.
I think differently. Even if I have to accept that my VNs will never be "mainstream". I want to use models for side characters who are similar to the girls above. But I also want to use some trash whores - fucked up women, like Larisa or Kira.
And I want to have a MILF who is better looking than the trash whores, but who is not as perfect as the girls above. Just to make the role more authentic. She won't be a princess or a supermodel or a superstar for fashion magazines or concerts. She is a normal mature woman with problems, a hard life, a rough childhood, youth and a shitty marriage - a very tough and hard life... and all this is reflected in her face.
And at this point I'm very different from most of the guys and devs here, because most of the guys still want a MILF who looks like 30-35 and seems to be the hottest thing on earth - a queen... miss universe. They want characters who do the craziest, most unbelievable things, including incest, corruption, humiliation, ntr etc., but who look like supermodels and are super cute. I think that doesnt fit in such a plot/story. It's much more unrealistic.
So I took inspiration from real porn stars and MILFS in the real porn business. Women who are not supermodels, who are not perfect, but with a specific kink and interesting mindset. Just a few examples...

So, my VN isnt like others and not really comparable to others. You dont need to ask "why is she like that? or "Why is her face so different?" These questions are nonsence, like asking a stranger woman on the street why she isnt looking like Angelina Jolie.
As for MILF or mature women, I am all in, I love them, those women you showed pictures which you based your character on are gorgeous, I would love nothing else than more games with MILFs that actually look relatively like MILFs not some characters that are clearly supposed to be in their 30s at most. The problem is their is a way to do that while retaining a more normalized look for the characters, something more fitting the medium, and that is where I butt head, I understand where you come from conceptually, but realistically it doesn't quite work like you desired outcome.
Look I played some video games with some variably complex character creators, and I did try to pull a similar thing you did of taking real life pictures of women and turning them into said characters, it rarely work out as intended, in particular if you don't appreciate the fact the medium can't produce the 1:1 translation you are looking for the picture. You should have compromised to try to soften up the issues that give those characters a weird to look at vibe.
Also, btw one of the problem I noticed very quickly, proportions, the head for your main woman is clearly based on the first picture, you see I noticed something very quickly, one of the issues is the head proportions are too large on your character, the real life woman's head, if you compare the head to shoulder ratio, your character looks to have a larger head, in particular its too wide compared to both the height of the head and the size of the shoulder, making the head too wide would obviously cause the issue I had noted of the jaw coming off as too large. I can admire the jaw on the picture, that woman got a beautiful strong jaw sure, but she doesn't give off a nearly Hapsburg vibe that your in game character do.
Ultimately you misconstrued my post, you seem to think I ask for perfection, its not about perfection, its about the characters not giving off a uncanny valley vibe due to some strange facial features that are too exacerbated compared to what it should normally be. Why do you think older forms of cosmetic surgery tended to leave people looking weird, because it tend to give off a unnatural shape at times to those that received it, which humans are programmed to react poorly to, we are programmed at a deep mental level in a sense to have a certain understand of what is human, and when something is off from the natural human frame, our brain send an alarm, causing the uncanny valley feeling to pop up in people, its not about perfection, its about looking like a normal human being.
Its the problem that will most of the time come off when Devs are trying to copy some real life women's appearance in games, unless you use some advanced and costly tech to effectively scan the face of a woman and thoroughly convert her real shape into a 3d render, it will look likely off and trigger that alarm in our brain that something is wrong, its why unless you have access to that sort of technology you better not bother trying to do that and instead should try to make a character look based vaguely like you wish but not try to copy a human face.

!That's true, but if you set it to anything other than "mother" or "mom" or whatever the text won't make any sense. i used "aunt/nephew" and even that doesn't always work. The writer clearly wants it to be a creepy mom/son thing.

Jeeezzz.. All Daz models fall into the uncanny valley around here, it's just a matter of witch particular valley you occupy. "Cookie cutter boring off the rack" valley, or "Here be weird and custom" valley. For, me I'm a bit tired of the first one, there's only so many times you can see "Daz female mod #47" with a different hair color.

So you already knew the answer hahaha well I think the main intention is mom/son or "landlady/tenant", old woman and young guy that used to live together to put it more generally. But you can choose. You are not actually into incest? I dont think its creepy, I think its hot lol
Some initial thoughts on this game.
Starting with the positive, the game's premise is solid. It believably sets up the eventual incest relationship and provides organic path for escalation. It may have been better served with Milana as the protagonist, since you could do the whole 'fish-out-of-water' thing as she's moving into a new country and culture. But all in all, good start.
Onto the negatives. My biggest critique is the decision to have a different illustration for every new line of text in this VN. This is an issue for a few reasons:
Some other minor points - Larissa and Milanna have virtually identical character designs. Larissa's head size is disproportionate to the rest of the body. It would be good to have the option to adjust the text box opacity, as quite a few scenes involve reading white text on a white image background.
