It did not seem that way to me. Keep in mind that the biological dad wanted Abby aborted and then he left. He has no legal claim to anything in the divorce between Shannon and the MC.
The MC signed the apartment over to Abby to keep Shannon from getting her greasy fingers on it just in case the prenup failed.
She cheated on him first already, thus breaking her and Abby's rule not to do anything when one of them has a boyfriend.

I agree that it should work that way, but what about this shot from inside the shower? The stairs are clearly visible from inside the shower, so the converse should be true as well.
No I did not forget, but what I do remember is her severely abusive behavior and accusing others of things she is actively doing. Her abusive behavior stems over 10 years plus I believe. What do you feel is a fair time frame where enough is enough then. If anything she should of been given psychological help years ago if this is the effect it has taken, or is it ok how she is behaving because it is the MC and her attacks are controlled mainly to him and she knows to not tangle with others. She seems to be able to hold a job, have a boyfriend, so I am going to assume she has the awareness to behave herself and hold her tongue and not be abusive even if she does not like someone, the only reason she has done it this long is because the MC is an easy target and does not resist, I would assume.
The MC has little to no dominance in him, if anything Rebecca is trying to give him a confidence boost to find some sort of dominance. The pecking order she stated also does not make sense, Lilith is clearly above him, but she says she is below him. By the conversations they both have and how he is usually submissive to her and the numerous conversations where he references to people please not tell her some things and thinks of how Lilith might react. You see he is below her. This does not mean in the future he can not find dominance and be more assertive, I feel Becca is trying to help him find that.
I would be interested to know if something happened in MC life which will eventually come up in the game which made him this way from before he moved to the new town around 16, he seems this way as well back then and it could be something which has shaped his life.

Hey, I would like to know on what did you base the "better options" of the mod on? Is it on hidden stats or more events? Because I could be wrong but it seems quite a few of them are the harsh option towards Lilith. I wanted to know if they actually change something and I need to replay from the beginning or not.

This is on purpose based on what you will obtain in future episodes also if you hug her she refuses. Trust me these are the best options per the dev. I double checked my choices with the walkthrough. You might want to look at that if you still don't believe. Thanks!

Just discovered this one and I have to say its surprisingly good VN with excellent writing, plot, and character development but visuals, on the other hand, are a bit disappointing.
I mean,...sheesh that MC face has been used and abused in like hundreds of VNs (BB and onwards) and its starting to be a bit repugnant and kinda detrimental to the otherwise great story.
Also, if you are going to show a guy with some style... wtf is it with the idiotic blazers, ties, and silly patterned shits? FFS just dress him in a black jacket and a white or black shirt unless you really want us to look at him as a moron that he certainly is not.

If you select shopping in one of the options, when you go to pick up a purse later, it cuts out as you go up her legs... and sends you to the main menu screen, is there an issue with that?

Just kidding, it is actually a good possibility, if jessica's story is true and the guy never wanted Abby I don't see any other reason for him to try to find her.

but honestly I don't see why jess's mom and him would contact after all these years without a reason like that. They both wanted the clothes hanger for abby so I don't see any other reason for them to try to contact all these years later. But its just a guess...
